Back in the ’90s, David Duchovny was so popular, he got to sit next to Prince Charles at a concert. That concert included All Saints who performed their hit Booty Call. Well, the future King of England was unfamiliar with the phrase, so the actor told James Corden on The Late Late Show that he had to explain it to him.
How do you that? If you someone who worked in Soft Porn, you describe it as, “It is when a man or a woman calls a man or woman to come to their home late at night for the express purpose of getting together and leaving right afterwards.” All the Prince could say was, “Oh!” Now, imagine if Duchovny described it as he would on Red Shoes Diaries, then Charles would have said, “Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes!!!”
Four days after His Royal Highness of Cambridge was born, he finally has a name. Kensington Palace revealed Prince William and Kate Middleton’s choice for their third child, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles. The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.”
Emily Andrew’s, The Sun’s Royal Correspondent, explained their choice as, “Louis is also George & William’s middle name. Louis Mountbatten was Prince Charles’ much-loved great-uncle who was assassinated in 1979. Prince Louis of Battenberg was Prince Philip’s gabdafther’s name.”
When it comes to how you pronounce his first name, it is Louis like with Louis Armstrong.
Personally, I like the name because it is not as proper as George and Charlotte. Just like Harry, it is a little more fun and a little fun does not hurt.
UPDATE: One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson Tweeted, “Young Louis welcome to the world. I’ll take you under my wing lad. The Adidas tracksuit is in the post!” No word when little Louis will meet big Louis’ son Freddie Reign. You know it has to happen at some point since the older kid has such a regal name.
Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed a third child today. Kensington Palace announced 5 hours after she arrived at the hospital that, “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
Baby #3’s name should be revealed in two days. What do you think they will name him? I am thinking Henry, Peter or Paul, but I wish they would go with Radcliffe.
Prince William changed the law, so baby #3 will be 5th in line to be King of England, his brother George, 4, and his sister Charlotte, 2, will remain as is in the succession. That is until Prince George has his own children. The way this family stays on the throne, she will never be Queen. But you never know!
UPDATE: Dickie Arbiter posted a photo of the third royal baby of Cambridge. He looks just like his big brother and sister. To see the Prince and Princess arrive at the hospital and his mom leave it, then click here!
Once you heard that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were engaged, you knew that there were going to be TV movies about their romance. So far there is only one and it is going to be on Lifetime. Today, the network released the first photos from Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, and well you can see for yourself.
While I think they did a good job casting Murray Fraser as Prince Harry, I think the actress who plays Kate Middleton (Laura Mitchell) looks more like Meghan Markle than Parisa Fitz-Henley. What do you think?
Too bad the future Duchess gave up acting because she could have played herself in the movie that debuts on May 13th, 6 days before the royal wedding.
You are the Prince of England and you can have anyone sing at your wedding, who would you ask? Adam Sandler? Nope, according to Entertainment Tonight, Prince Harry asked Ed Sheeran, whose songs are perfect for any newlyweds’ first dance.
No word yet if he will sing Photograph or Perfect or any of his tunes for the Prince and Meghan Markle on May 19th, but it’s an offer he cannot refuse.
You know if Sheeran’s career ever tanks, he could totally become a wedding singer. I would totally hire him to sing at my wedding. Who wouldn’t?
