The CW’s Dynasty continues with 10 of their shows next season! |

The CW picked up 10 of their shows for next season and sadly iZombie is not one of them.
What made the list? All five DC shows Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Black Lightning and Arrow are flying into next season. Supernatural is turning the big 1-4. Riverdale finds its sugar, sugar with season 3. Jane the Virgin gives birth to its rumored last season while Crazy Ex Girlfriend keeps on singing songs no one else would dare sing about. The biggest surprise of them all is that Dynasty will also be back. The show that is one of the lowest-rated shows on television will miraculously back for more hijinx.
Besides these 10 shows, The CW added another night of television to their lineup in the fall. Therefore, that means at least two new shows will be joining the 2018-2019 lineup. I am rooting that they consider bringing sitcoms to their lineup. Maybe a Reba revival? The cast is up for it, so let’s make it a reality. That and iZombie!
UPDATE: Rachel Bloom revealed that next season will be Crazy Ex Girlfriend’s last season. She Tweeted, “Just turned on my wifi on our flight to Chicago and found out that #CrazyExGirlfriend has been renewed for a final season.” The cast is on tour promoting the music from the show. I am going to miss that music. My iPod (yes I am old school) loves to play the tunes from the series whenever I drive by the Catholic church near my house. I don’t know if it hates me or is trying to teach that place of worship a lesson? I am going with the latter.

Alexis joins Dynasty tonight, bitches! |
March 30th, 2018 under Dynasty, Nicollette Sheridan, Revivals-Reboots, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

It is the moment that Dynasty fans have been waiting for all season long, and tonight at 8p on The CW Nicolette Sheridan makes her debut as Alexis Carrington. I have to be honest, she is no Joan Collins. Nobody else could ever come close to her. Having said that, she does an impressive job. After all, she has very high stilettos to fill.
The episode starts off at Blake’s (Grant Show) father’s funeral and the family is getting reacquainted with her. Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) has not seen her mother since Alexis took the divorce settlement money and left her two kids to be raised by their father. Therefore, this is not a happy reunion.
Now it is time for the whole family to go back to the house for the reading of the will and they are all shocked that Alexis got their house. Now, they will do everything in the power to stop from that happening.
It is going to be a fight. Well, actually there is a huge fight between mother and daughter that causes both women to get all wet. As in they fall into the pool and continue cat fighting it out until one is victorious. No one is going to dare go down there and break it up. Why would they, this is too good to stop! Meow.
Once they are dry, it is time for the bullets to fly. Literal bullets. What happens next is what we have all been waiting for since September.
Just like Collins saved the original show back in the ’80s, expect the same from Sheridan. After all, she went from being a desperate housewife to a desperate divorcee. What more do you need to check out this campy primetime soap?

The CW gives Life Sentence a death sentence |

The CW announced today that they are changing up its schedule next month. Starting on April 18th, after the Riverdale musical episode, The 100 will take over Life Sentence’s Wednesday night 9p slot. Then on April 27th, a week after Jane the Virgin airs its season finale, Life Sentence will air the rest of its season out Fridays at 9p.
What makes this very significant is that they are both the lowest rated shows on broadcast TV. Both are fighting to be the first show to get The Blutarsky. That is where a show gets a 0.0 in the 18-49 demo. Both shows have been able to barely stay above the 0.1, but airing back to back might force both of them into The Blutarsky territory. Something I hope is not the case because I am one of those very few people who love both shows.
Why aren’t you watching the campy Dynasty and the heartwarming Life Sentence? They are too good to go down in flames.

Tonight at 9p on The CW, Stella (Lucy Hale) continues to find out what in her life is real after being diagnosed as cancer free on Life Sentence.
Last week, Stella found out she was not dying of cancer and that should mean that her life would be even better. It is the complete opposite for her because her whole family has been lying to her since she was diagnosed 8 years ago. She found out that her parents (Dylan Walsh and Gillian Vigman) hate each other, her father is broke from paying all of her medical bills and will have to sell their house, her sister (Brooke Lyons) hates her life and her brother (Jayson Blair) avoided living one and knocked up a married woman.
This week, she has to deal with her parents fighting over selling the house and they take their anger to a whole new level. Her mother cannot wait to get rid of the house and does not tell anyone why. Causing her family to turn against her. While her dad will do anything to keep it. Can they come up with a much needed compromise?
Aiden still will not talk to his baby mama and figure out what to do next. Therefore, Stella decides to jump in and make him deal with it. Will he still find a way to avoid it?
The worst of it all is that immigration is trying to find out her marriage to Wes (Elliot Knight) is real. If they think that it is not legit, he will be deported. She has not had to face real issues since she is 15, so she keeps screwing up. Will it cost her marriage? Why did Wes really marry her after only dating for a month? Was it to get to America? What do they really know about each other and can they handle the truth?
It is a lot for her to handle and she still has to go to work every day. Who knew getting a new lease on life would be so difficult? And yet, watching this show is so easy because it is so endearing and fun to watch.
