Has Nicollette Sheridan hit hard times?
November 5th, 2018 under Hard times, Nicollette Sheridan. [ Comments: none ]

Even though Nicollette Sheridan is starring as Alexis Carrington on Dynasty, she was seen coming out of a silver trailer in a little nightgown. Is the desperate housewife desperate for money? Nope, but her character is since we found out the butler did it with her and their affair produced a son who was raised by her ex-husband as his own. Thus, why she is living in a trailer and not a mansion.

Translation, The CW nighttime soap is so much better this than the last one. Therefore, you should be watching it!

Did Joan Collins diss the new Alexis?

Joan Collins, the one and only Alexis Carrington, took to Twitter today to do a very Alexis thing today. She tweeted a photo of her Barbie doll from her Dynasty days with a quote from her character that reads, “That sounds like a challenge and I adore a challenge.” Then she captioned that photo with, “Here she is, the original iconic #alexis #TBThursday #ThrowbackThursday #OG #tbt.”

I don’t know about you, but that seems like a slam towards Nicolette Sheridan. Can anyone say she is wrong? Sheridan is good at playing a bitch as seen on Paper Dolls and Desperate Housewives, but no one will ever come close to Joan Collins. Collins will always be the best at it and no one should try to top her because they can’t.

Alexis joins Dynasty tonight, bitches!
March 30th, 2018 under Nicollette Sheridan, Revivals-Reboots, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

It is the moment that Dynasty fans have been waiting for all season long, and tonight at 8p on The CW Nicolette Sheridan makes her debut as Alexis Carrington. I have to be honest, she is no Joan Collins. Nobody else could ever come close to her. Having said that, she does an impressive job. After all, she has very high stilettos to fill.

The episode starts off at Blake’s (Grant Show) father’s funeral and the family is getting reacquainted with her. Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) has not seen her mother since Alexis took the divorce settlement money and left her two kids to be raised by their father. Therefore, this is not a happy reunion.

Now it is time for the whole family to go back to the house for the reading of the will and they are all shocked that Alexis got their house. Now, they will do everything in the power to stop from that happening.

It is going to be a fight. Well, actually there is a huge fight between mother and daughter that causes both women to get all wet. As in they fall into the pool and continue cat fighting it out until one is victorious. No one is going to dare go down there and break it up. Why would they, this is too good to stop! Meow.

Once they are dry, it is time for the bullets to fly. Literal bullets. What happens next is what we have all been waiting for since September.

Just like Collins saved the original show back in the ’80s, expect the same from Sheridan. After all, she went from being a desperate housewife to a desperate divorcee. What more do you need to check out this campy primetime soap?

Can Nicolette Sheridan save Dynasty 2.0?
November 28th, 2017 under Nicollette Sheridan, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

When The CW announced that they were remaking Dynasty people were curious what they were going to do with the show, and then the interest stopped once it aired. It wasn’t as cheesy as the original and the changes they made for the characters have not worked. Don’t get me started on the actress who plays Cristal. Basically, it is not that good and it is not doing well in the ratings. Yet it got a full season pick up.

What to do? Bring in Heather Locklear like they did with Spin City and both Melrose Places? She is, sorry to say, too old for this younger version of the series. Therefore, they are going for the next blonde bitch on the list to play Alexis Carrington and they got Nicolette Sheridan. Can the Paper Doll save the show? We shall see, but I will not hold my breath. Although it would be nice if the Desperate Housewife can breath life in to the nighttime soap that is barely watchable. And can I say that because I watch.

Nicollette Sheridan slaps a lawsuit on Desperate Housewives’ Marc Cherry

About a year ago Nicollette Sheridan was fired from Desperate Housewives and now she is firing back with a lawsuit. According to TMZ she filed a $20 million lawsuit against ABC and DH for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. She alleges in the lawsuit that show creator Marc Cherry physically attacked her after she confronted him about his behavior. In the lawsuit paperwork she claims that on September 24, 2008 “Cherry took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head.” She then says she went to ABC about the incident, and then she added that they didn’t do anything about it. National Enquirer reported this last year, but nothing came of it until now.
TMZ added that Sheridan also claims that Cherry acted in a “extremely abusive and aggressive manner” towards other people on the show. She mentioned one cast member by name in the legal papers, she claims that when Teri Hatcher went to Cherry’s bosses he said, “I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies.” No word from Teri Hatcher about the lawsuit, but I am not expecting her to make one. While Teri might not be talking just yet, ABC released this statement to the LA Times, “While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit.”
I wonder why she waited until now to file the lawsuit?
Sadly it is looking like the off-screen drama is more interesting than anything we have seen on the show this season. Desperate Housewives has been going down hill ever since the first season eded and it especially declined when Edie Britt was killed off last year.
