BTWF roles: Sandra Bullock in Bionic Showdown
March 3rd, 2010 under Before They Were Famous, Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: none ]

Before Sandra Bullock was nominated for Oscars’ Best Actress for The Blind Side, she was a Bionic Woman in Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman . The 24 year old actress has come a long way since that 1989 telemovie.
BTW that most awesome cheesy movie is on YouTube in case you want to watch it. I know I have been enjoying it!

The best speeches from the SAG Awards
January 24th, 2010 under Awards, Betty White, Eli Roth, Quentin Tarantino, Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: none ]

If you are like me and find all these Awards shows extremely boring, here are the best speeches from last night’s SAG Awards!
If it weren’t for the fact they were honoring Betty White, I would not have DVRed the SAG Awards, but as they said who doesn’t love Betty White! And what an introduction Sandra Bullock gave to Betty as she received the much deserved Life Achievement Award and what an acceptance speech Ms Betty White gave when she got the naked little man statuette! I especially loved the clip reel because I never saw Betty’s early work before so it was such a joy to see she is really a brunette. Who knew she wasn’t a natural blonde? I also love that the Golden Girl is 88 years young and she still has all of her wit…her dirty little wit!!! Now when it comes to Sandra accepting her award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for a Motion Picture, how much did you adore her speech where she praises her husband! I so want a marriage like theirs because you can tell that they really love each other, afterall he is wearing a monkey suit for her. Next time she forces him to dress up is the Oscars!!!
Next up is Drew Barrymore, who is finally winning awards for her acting! I love her speeches and I admire that she tries to do them off the cuff. Next up for her is the Emmys, hopefully by then she will have this award accepting thing down!
Finally it is time for the Inglourious Basterds and we have Christoph Waltz who is just so humbled by all of his awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture and if anyone deserves the award for best actor this year it is him. Plus his speeches are so original and sincere, how can you not love him. Lastly we have Eli Roth accepting Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture for the cast and he is the only actor who actually named all of the cast that was up there on the stage with him when they won that honor and I respect him for that. Next up fro Christoph is the Oscars!
Here are all of the winners:

Sandra Bullock is the new Julia Roberts
January 5th, 2010 under Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: 4 ]

Congrats to Sandra Bullock for knocking Julia Roberts down a notch!!! Sandra is the new female box office champ. Her movie The Blind Side is the first movie “driven solely by a top female star to jump the $200 million mark at the domestic B.O.” according to Variety. The next female actresses and their movie who hold that honor are Julia Roberts’ Erin Brokovich at $125.6 million and Meryl Streep’s The Devil Wears Prada at $124.7 million. So what an accomplishment for Sandra Bullock to not only top them, but to do it by so much more. If any actress for any film deserved to take the top spot it is Sandra Bullock for The Blind Side. TBS is an amazing movie and she scored a touchdown in it.
If you haven’t seen this movie yet, run out and see it. It is a truly inspirational movie that can be enjoyed by everyone!

20/20 is telling the real story behind The Blind Side
December 23rd, 2009 under 2 Broke Girls, Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. [ Comments: 1 ]

Next Tuesday on ABC’s 20/20 they are telling the real story behind the inspirational movie The Blind Side. In case you didn’t know the Sandra Bullock movie is based on a true story and 20/20 has the first sit down interview with Michael Oher, who now plays for the Baltimore Ravens, about the movie. Not only will he be on the show, but so will the whole Tuohy family, Leigh Anne, Sean, Sean Jr. (SJ), and Collins. Of course you can’t tell the story behind the movie without having the stars of it Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw on the special too.
When I saw the trailer for the movie, it touched me so much I actually researched it online afterwards. I thought wow what a touching story with a great outcome and now I am so excited that 20/20 is telling the real story behind the movie. I can’t wait to hear what everyone has to say about it. I think this is the must-watch interview for everyone to see before we start the New Year as a resolution how we can do better.
On a The Blind Side note, I saw it last week and I absolutely loved it. I cried through most of it but I didn’t leave the movie sad, I left feeling inspired because it is such an amazing story. I honestly understand why Sandra Bullock is getting all these noms and I am rooting for her to win. If you haven’t seen The Blind Side yet, I highly recommend adding it to your must see list!

Sandra Bullock gets a Chola makeover
November 25th, 2009 under George Lopez, Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: 2 ]

Yesterday Sandra Bullock was on George Lopez’s new late night show on TBS Lopez Tonight and he gave her a Chola makeover. Wow, that look so did not work for her, but you got to love that she handled it so well. I wonder when all was said and done she regretted producing his sitcom for what he did to her? I know I would! Although maybe it opens up a whole new genre of movies for her do? Instead of romantic comedies she can be doing grittier movies. How much fun would it be to see her play a tough girl? Nah, scratch that.
BTW with her Chola look she almost looks like she did when she was on the sitcom Working Girl back in 1990

(see her with her down at 1:35)
