Oliver Hudson is a three-time Hollywood legacy but he did not use his parents to get his first job in Hollywood. He could have walked into any studio and said, I am Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell and Bill Hudson’s son and Kate Hudson’s brother to get almost any job he wanted, but he didn’t do that. Instead he told Steve Harvey today that he started out on the bottom as a production assistant.
A PA does the grunt work, and he has a funny story about his time on the job. He was working craft services and his job was to take home these huge coffee coolers and clean them. The next day he gets into his car to go to work and it won’t start. The 19-year-old has no choice but to take his mother’s bright red Ferrari convertible to work with these huge brown rectangles in the back seat. Once he got on the Warner Bros lot, he was mortified that his secret was out.
While that was then, tonight at 9:30p he is starring in Splitting Up Together on ABC. Lena (Jenna Fischer) and Martin (Hudson) had the perfect marriage when they started out, but now not so much. Having three kids can do that to a marriage. Even though the kids ruined their love for each other, they still want their lives to be as normal as possible.
How to do that? Bird nesting. That means one week he will live in the house and she will live in the guest one in the back, then the next week they will switch. She is anal and he is laid back, so that is going to cause problems between them as they are splitting up together.
While they have their problems, the show does not. It is a sweet modern family show with a lot of laughs.
Oliver Hudson was on Larry King Now and a fan wanted to know if we would ever see him naked on Instagram again. The actor explained that it was part of his OTG (Off the Grid) series to let people in into his brain. Which is the one thing we did not see in that video.
Then he revealed that his 10-year-old son Wilder was the cameraman behind the video of his behind. And both boys took the silly video very seriously. You know what, Wilder is actually a good cinematographer.
Talking about him and Instagram and father/son relationships, he also told the Ora-TV host that his father and him started talking again after that infamous Father’s Day post where he wished his biological dad “Happy abandonment day.”

Oliver Hudson is a very manly man, and he is man enough to admit that he is smooth like a little boy down there.
The actor told Ellen DeGeneres on her show today that he loves his wife so much that he got a Brazilian for her. He explained that he did it because he wanted to know what she goes through for him.
The host wanted to know how was it and he said it hurt a lot. Did he do it again? 5 times and counting! Wait, what? He kind of likes it because “it’s very clean, and you know, there’s some nice things that happen, when you, are fully, there’s no hair.”
While most married people get couple massages, they couple waxings. Which has helped them have a special bond because of it. You know what they say, “A couple that waxes together, stays together.”
Andy Cohen asked Goldie Hawn what her reaction was to her oldest son showing off his butt on Instagram, and she gave the Watch What Happens Live host an answer he was never expecting.
She said that Oliver Hudson makes her laugh and then she shared a story about him when he was just a week old. Goldie’s golden story about her big boy is, “When I had him circumcised, the doctor came out and said, ‘You’ll be happy to know I came out to get a bigger clamp.'” Then she added, “I was thrilled!” I am sure he is thrilled that his mom revealed that not so little tidbit about him. I mean it only get bigger after that, right? Now, I will be checking out his crotch when I ever see photos of him.

We know that the Hudson family is a very funny one and turns out that Oliver is the funniest one of them all. Yesterday, he took to Instagram and to take on the tabloid reports that his sister Kate moved in with Brad Pitt. By the sounds of what he says, it doesn’t sound like he loves his future brother-in-law and the feeling is mutual.
The funniest part about his post, is how much do you want to bet that someone takes this joke post as a real and claim there really is a rift between the two?
