When you think of KISS, you think of them as one of the biggest names in Glam Rock. So, it might surprise you, as it surprised me, that Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley’s sons, Nick and Evan, sang The Beatles’ ballad Here Comes the Sun.
The Stanley Simmons duo perfectly harmonized the positive tune written by the late George Harrison, and I am shook. It was not what I was expecting from two boys whose fathers belted out Rock and Roll All Nite in makeup, leather, and platform boots. The Fab Four are like the opposite of Knights in Satan’s Service.
However, it does show that their fathers raised them right and taught them to love all genres of music, even songs that came out four years before their dads formed their band.

That is not what McG thinks, so he cast him to play Paul Stanley in the KISS biopic Shout It Out Loud.
According to Deadline, “Shout It Out Loud focuses on the formation of the ‘70s glitter rock band. Stanley hardly fit the persona of a sex symbol front man as he was growing up. ‘I was deaf in one ear and had a slight deformity that made me look different,’ Stanley once said. ‘I was this short, fat kid, and music became my salvation, a place to hide and dream. And when I played music, there were always girls around.’”

Then when the lights went up, he took to social media and explained what happened: “Hey everybody, thanks for the good wishes. I’m fine. Yesterday at Manaus Stadium in Brazil, experienced weakness because of dehydration. We stopped for about five minutes, I drank some water, and then all was well. Nothing serious.”
And that is why they are still the Knights of Rock’n’Roll.
