Simon Cowell fell off of his electric bike this Saturday afternoon and broke his back. He then spent the night in surgery to repair the broken bones.
Needless to say, he is not going to be in the mood to do the live America’s Got Talent shows on Tuesday and Wednesday. Therefore, they asked Kelly Clarkson to sit his chair, and she said yes.
This gives NBC and her more exposure for her daytime talk show that just earned her an Emmy. Which makes you wonder why they didn’t ask Ellen DeGeneres to do it because she needs some positive exposure. Plus, Ellen has judging experience. Remember, she was a judge on American Idol for a failed season with Cowell. I know we try to forget about that heinous season. That was a really bad year.

David Boreanaz was doing a live-to-tape interview with Kelly Clarkson from his home when he suddenly couldn’t hear what she was saying anymore. What do you? If you are an actor, who has spent more than half your life as a lead of four different TV shows without any breaks, then you just keep going on with the show.
They changed it up and made it like charades. Clarkson asked her questions by acting out the words. Since Boreanaz is a better player than she is, he knew what she was asking.
Together they got through her best interview since the show started! She should do more of them like this.
BTW I don’t blame Boreanaz’s innocent dog, Louis, for causing him to lose audio. I betcha, he was the type of kid who blamed his dog for his eating homework when he was a kid.
Anytime Kelly Clarkson talks about her husband, Brandon Blackstock, you would think this couple is going to be one of the ones that will actually make it until death do they part. Well, we can’t always assume that we know which couples are going to make it and which ones are not.
Today, The Blast broke the news that the first American Idol winner has filed for divorce from her husband exactly a week ago. No word what happened between them, but I am sure we will find out soon enough. After all, she has a talk show, and she loves to talk!
The estranged couple was married in October 2013, and they have two children together, daughter River Rose, 5, and son Remington, 3. Blackstock has two children, daughter Savannah, 18, and son, Seth, 13, from a previous marriage.
Clarkson, who has a prenup, is asking for joint custody of their children, but did not say who gets custody of her ex-step-mother-in-law, Reba.
Constance Wu wanted to know how it felt to be a stripper before she played one in Hustlers, so she put on some tattoos and got a job as one. That means she worked the pole that hangs from the ceiling and the one that hangs between a man’s legs. The actress told Kelly Clarkson that she did lapdances too. How much did she make? She made $600.
At least now, if she has a problem getting a job, because of how she handled Fresh Off the Boat’s renewal, she knows that there is another career available to her.
We know that Kelly Clarkson can talk a lot, but did you know that she can cry that much too? Her talk show has not even been on the air for four months, and she has already teared up more than all The Real hosts combined on their show. The latter has been on the air for 6 years. That is a lot of waterworks.
Then again, she does heartwarming segments that even brings a few tears to my eyes.
