Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live they had the Steel Magnolias mother and daughter on the show, and Sally Field and Julia Roberts were anything but the dainty Southern Belles they played in the 1989 movie. The two Oscar winners took part in a curse off and you’d think that Pretty Woman would’ve mopped the floor with the Flying Nun and you would be so so so wrong. Sweet little Gidget that told us, that we love her, we really really love her, was using a lot of other four letter words in the competition and none of them were love. What they were is sadly left to the imagination because the showdown aired on broadcast television and curse words are not lot to be uttered on it. So instead we heard bleeps and saw their mouths pixelized. Now even though we don’t what America’s Sweethearts said that doesn’t mean we can’t laugh with them as they blushed after each naughty word/phrase they said.
Now I have always loved Sally Field because how can you not. But hearing her say dirty dirty words makes me love her a whole more.
And I want to say f*ck you to Jimmy Kimmel because the f*cking bastard actually made me like Julia Roberts for the first time in a really really really long time. Seriously, didn’t she actually come off as likeable and not the snob she always appears to be?

Lupita Nyong’o might have an Oscar but that doesn’t mean newspeople can say her name correctly. Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the ABC late night show compiled a bunch anchors around the country trying to say her name and her last name was an issue for them. So watch how badly they mess up her name because it is pretty incredible.
She shouldn’t feel bad because she is not the only Oscar winner whose name reporters can’t say correctly, Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Kim Basinger, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Cher all know her pain too. Lupita has to get some solace from the fact that at least she doesn’t have Idina Menzel’s problem…

Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live the ABC late night show had Katy Perry and one of her Superfans play a game to see who knows the California Gurl better.
While most of the questions were boring and didn’t reveal much, there was one that caught my attention. Kimmel asked, “In 6th grade, Katy was suspended from school for doing what?” The singer who likes to Roar said, “Humping a tree!” I guess at that age she misinterpreted what her friends were referring to when they said wood and that is why she was humping a tree? Who knew that wood, I mean would, get you suspended from school.
Now when it comes to game, how sad is it that her fan knows her better than she knows herself? I guess all that hair dye is messing her memory? But at least she remembered humping a tree when she was a pre-teen. I won’t even ask if she got a splinter and where? Oh wait, that came later on when she married Russell Brand! Sorry, Russell it just felt like a joke that could work!

Drake was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late night show had some fun with him. They put him in disguise and then sent him out on to Hollywood Blvd to ask people questions about himself. Since he was wearing a wig, glasses, fake beard and nerdy clothing, no one knew it was the Degrassi star all made up. Because he was unrecognizable, the people were honest about how they felt about him. Let’s just say, he’s probably happy he only lives once because they were not that nice. Poor Jimmy Brooks, at least he has Rihanna’s shoulder to cry on.

Johnny Depp made his second appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and once again it was something to kiss and tell about. The hunky actor kissed the ABC late night host the first time he was on the show and he came prepared last night to do it again. The Cry Baby brought along some Chapstick, put it on his lips and Kimmel did the same and placed it some other parts of his face too. Then after a brief confirmation that it was going to happen, Jimmy leaned in for the kiss and Depp happily obliged.
If someone doesn’t get these two a room soon, I don’t know what could happen. Since I don’t know what could happen, I will just use my imagination to picture what might happen. Let’s just say, I don’t think the MPAA would give it anything less than an NC-17.
