Sue Trowbridge, who runs the site Interbridge noticed something strange about the guest booking for the late night shows on August 8th. Since she has been listing which people are going to be on what talk shows since 1994, she would know if something is out of the ordinary.
What did she notice? She saw that Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert all have a “Special Guest TBA.” Who this guest is, we have no idea since they are to be announced.
Here are some of my theories. My first thought is Beyonce is going to release an album on the 9th and she is going to make the announcement on their shows. Or maybe one of the studios is releasing a secret movie next Friday? Could Oprah Winfrey or Michelle Obama be announcing that they are running for President of the United States? What about a bunch of celebrities announcing a telethon to raise money for something? Avengers: Endgame is coming out on home video the 13th, what if a cast member appears on each show with a special announcement.
Here is another interesting question, how will they handle it? Will they each get an exclusive with said guest? They all tape and air at different times. Would they all set a certain time so they could all interview them at the same time in a group interview? Will the guest give all of them a pre-taped statement? Will they each interview the person individually? Since Conan airs first, we will have to wait until T0ursday at 11p to find out.
Who do you think the mystery guest is? It has to be someone HUGE and it is not television show related.

Can you believe it is August 2nd already? To me, it still feels like April. Well, we are not alone. Several news anchors all over the United States and Canada feel the same way. That is why they took the airwaves to declare that they cannot believe it is August already.
How many? Jimmy Kimmel Live compiled them all them together in one video that proves that local news all over North America can have the same story.
How much do you want to bet in September they are going to be saying the same thing. Obviously, they will swap out September for August, but you know what I meant.
We know that kids these days love to take Selfies, but what about their grandparents? Jimmy Kimmel Live went to the Farmers Market and Gary Greenberg asked them to do just that.
None of them have taken a Selfie before, and yet they did a good job when they tried. They even were masters at adding stickers and filters to their photos. Not that they needed that to be any cuter.
Now that they are proficient in Selfies, will they do it again? Nope, they are more important things to do with the time they have left.
Keith L. Williams is just 12 years old and yet he has had a pretty successful acting career. He has starred on the sitcoms Selfie and The Last Man on Earth. Then on August 16th, we will see him in his biggest role to date. He is starring in Seth Rogen’s Good Boys.
A movie that is not kid-friendly, even though the stars are kids themselves. How will his pre-teen’s friends see it? He told Jimmy Kimmel Live that they are going to have to sneak in to see it. Then when they are done, he will have to explain a lot of it to them like it was explained to him.
How did his parents feel about him doing the movie? At first, they were hesitant, but then they read the script. They laughed so hard, they let him do the film.
Like I said, he is becoming a star which means he is earning the big bucks. Does he see all of that dough? Nope, he only gets a $20 a week allowance. Sometimes, his mom even forgets to give it to him. Imagine when he finds out how much money he made for his work and how much he got. $1,040 normally goes a long way for someone of his age, but he is not your average kid.
Every year, Jimmy Kimmel likes to get his viewers to do something mean to their sperm donors on Father’s Day. In the past, he asked the offspring to scream I love you at their dads, serve them breakfast in the shower, as compared to making it and then dumping it on their pops, and he even asked the kids to wake up their daddies by jumping on them in the middle of the night. This year he continued the tradition and once again it included food.
You know those viral videos where parents throw American cheese at their babies, the ABC host decided to reverse it. How would the papas all over America feel about that? Some handled it better than others and only one actually ate the slice that was thrown at his face. Compared to his other dares, this one is pretty painless, until you get to the last one. That one makes ever in the audience cry.
Now, I want to take issue with Jane Kimmel. She is 4 years old now, about time she started doing these pranks on her dad. Am I right? And what about his adult children Kevin and Katie, where are they? They need to get justice for all the innocent people who have been pranked in the past. They are Kimmels and they should be the best pranksters out there. Therefore, they need to prank their dad. Who is with me? Justice for Jimmy Kimmel’s victims.
