Jane Fonda unretouched magazine cover
October 13th, 2017 under Jane Fonda. [ Comments: none ]

Jane Fonda is 79 years young, but that does not mean she is afraid to let her true face show on the cover for Town & Country magazine. While actresses a quarter of her age welcome photoshopping, not the Oscar winner. She let every wrinkle shine through. She has always been an activist, and I like this cause. Women should feel beautiful as they age, just like her.

Megyn Kelly made the mistake of asking Jane Fonda about her plastic surgery
September 27th, 2017 under Jane Fonda, TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Megyn Kelly has a new talk show on NBC and the news anchor thought that doing entertainment interviews would be easy. Guess what, they are not.

The show has only been on the air for 3 days and she has already pissed off two celebrities. First it was Debra Messing and today it was Jane Fonda. Fonda and Robert Redford were on Today to talk about their movie, but instead Kelly only wanted to talk about everything else. First she wanted to know about the Way We Were with Barbra Streisand, and Fonda was not having it. Then Kelly brought the conversation back the actress, but not on a topic she wanted to discuss.

The anchor asked her why Fonda regrets getting plastic surgery because she looks wonderful now. If looks could kill, Kelly would be dead. When Fonda could talk, she told her, “We really want to talk about that right now?” Then she brought the conversation back to the movie.

Kelly kept asking questions, but the tension was there and no amount of Oscars could hide how pissed off the co-stars were at their interviewer.

If Kelly keeps this up, she will not be interviewing any stars. I would assume, NBC is calling in favors and there is only so much the publicists will take. She is lucky she got the names she did for her first week because publicists normally do not put their big clients on a new show. They wait to see how it does before they book their clients on it. The more she pisses off stars and they go to press with their dissatisfaction, the harder it is going to be for her to even get C-Listers.

Heck at the rate she is going, I would not be surprised if by next week the format of the show will change. She will not be interviewing celebrities. Instead, she will be doing feature interviews and cooking segments.

Not only are her interview questions bad, she is really awkward and says the dumbest things. She is not good at being funny, so she needs to stop. Actually, she needs a new job. Although, I like that she gives me stuff to post. What do you think?

What a dinner this must have been?
August 28th, 2017 under Candice Bergen, Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen. [ Comments: none ]

We know that celebrities get together all the time and have dinner, we just never see it. Yesterday, Jane Fonda had supper at Candice Bergen’s house with Tab Hunter and his partner Allan R Glaser, Ted Danson and his wife Mary Steenburgen and Diane Keaton, and I am blown away by all the talent in that one photo. The amount of Emmys, Oscars and Golden Globes between them in astonishing, so you have to wonder what they were talking about as they broke bread. Who cares? It is just so cool to see them in a group like that.

BTW we do not why they were all hanging out, so let us just imagine that they are talking about working on a project together. How amazing would that be?

Is Jane Fonda really 79?
June 30th, 2017 under Are they really their age?, Jane Fonda. [ Comments: 1 ]

Jane Fonda is months away from her 80th birthday, but you would never know that looking at this closeup of her face. She has less wrinkles than a woman a third of her age.

Normally, I would ask what is her secret, but in this case we know what it is. Her workout videos and now I am going to start doing them because I want to look like her when I am her age. Heck I want to look like her now and I am no where near her age.

Diane Keaton proves she loves to kiss on camera
May 5th, 2017 under Diane Keaton, Graham Norton, Jane Fonda, Kevin Bacon. [ Comments: none ]

Diane Keaton was a guest on The Graham Norton Show today and he wanted know if is true that she loves to film love scenes. She told him, “It’s the best! Quite frankly, it doesn’t get better than onscreen romance.” Then she explained why, “Frankly, think of all of the men you get to kiss and you don’t pay the price.” Wait, what? She added, “The relationship is perfect because you are telling the story, you are in the midst of the story. So yeah, I am enjoying doing it. I enjoy it!”

Then she elaborated to him and the audience who she just offered to kiss, “There is nothing better than kissing a man in a movie. And people say that is difficult, but they’re wrong.” To prove her point, she offered to kiss the BBC host and he excitingly obliged. After she gave him not one but two kisses and some slaps, she told everyone that she now she wanted to kiss his other male guest Kevin Bacon. The actor, who is Six Degrees of Separation from all actors, cut loose, Footloose, when she offered because that has been on his bucket list. Hopefully, his wife Kyra Sedgwick won’t see this! Finally, Annie Hall didn’t stop there, she punished Jessica Chastain with a kiss on a lips and none of them will ever be the same.

Is it wrong that I want to be kissed by Diane Keaton too? She makes it looks like it truly is the best thing and I think it is because of the way she does it! Who doesn’t like a little hit before she makes it all better with a kiss!

I have to say after watching this, they did a brilliant job of casting her in Book Club with Jane Fonda and Candice Bergen as three women whose lives change after they read Fifty Shades of Grey. She will get to do a lot of onscreen kissing and hitting, which is so up her alley!

Seriously, who doesn’t want to be BFFs with her! I would bring the wine and ice just to hang out with her for a night. She is the coolest chick in Hollywood!
