Nashville rocks!!!

The first new show of the Fall season premieres tonight at 9p on Fox and I hope the rest of the new shows are as good as Nashville
When you consider that the top selling artists from American Idol go to Nashville for their record labels and sound, it would only make sense that Fox would go to that same city for their new docu-soap. Nashville is the story of what it is really like to try to make it in the music industry without the help of a show like American Idol to launch you! And believe me this show is a real eye-opener and really fun to watch.
Nashville revolves around the lives of singers and songwriters at different stages of their careers from just starting out to on the brink of making it to trying to make a comeback. It also deals with friendships, dating and breaking up. It is like those MTV shows, but this one is based in America's heartland so unlike the others it is full of heart.
When the first episode ends, it leaves you wanting more and running to your computer to see whose album you can pick up because you know these guys are all going to make it!  That and they all sound good! Wait until you see Chucks Wicks Showcase you will be blown away by his sound and voice!
So tune into Nashville on Fox tonight at 9p and every Friday night for some good old music and stories of making it in "the biggest small town in America!!!”

What is ending and premiering this week on TV?
September 11th, 2007 under Fox, FX. [ Comments: 1 ]

Rescue Me finishes it hottest season to date on FX tomorrow at 10p and I wonder what cliffhanger they are going to leave us with! Because for the last three seasons the show has sure not disappointed us with the last five minutes of the season. In fact it makes us feel just like we did when we were in school counting how many days until summer and Rescue Me is back.
BTW tune into the Emmys on Sunday to see if Denis Leary wins an Emmy for his role as Tommy Gavin.
24 hours after I say good-bye to Rescue Me, I will need a drink and I will get one or two with the third season premiere of It Is Always Sunny In Philadelphia on FX at 10p on Thursday! I have seen the first four episodes (2 of which air on Thursday) and all I will say is that this show hasn't changed in the least bit and that is a good thing.
BTW unlike Rescue Me, don't expect to see this show at the Emmys…it is too smart for the Emmy voters!!!
Burn Notice ends its first season on Thursday on USA at 10p. They say this show was a hit (no pun) and that would be to put it mildly! The chemistry between the actors and the writing of the show helped USA launch a new night of television…Thursdays!!! The show will be back for second season, no one was surprised by that news.
The first new show of the Fall Season premieres on Friday at 9p on Fox and I say let's get on the bus and head to Nashville to watch this show!
This high-drama docu-soap set in "the biggest small town in America” focuses on the dreamers and dream-makers in the music industry, as well as those trying to make their mark on Nashville's big business and high society premieres Friday, Sept. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Pictured L-R:  Matt Jenkins, Lindsey Hager, Jeff Allen, Clint Moseley, Chuck Wicks, Rachel Bradshaw, Mika Combs, Jamey Johnson and Sarah Gunsolus.
I just started watching the premiere episode and I am so hooked and I am sure you will be too!!!
Monk and Psych finish up their season on Friday on USA at 9 and 10p respectively. I don't know about you, but I want them both to investigate why their seasons fly by while we wait for then to come back next season.
BTW we will find out on Sunday if Tony Shaloub will get another Emmy to add to his mantle on Sunday! Good luck Tony.

What can you say about this season of 4400? Except does it really have to end. This season was a season of twists and turns and you never knew what was going to happen next? I can't wait to see how they end this season because they are another show that loves end cliffhangers.
The Dead Zone also finishes it season on Sunday and 10p and it was the season that was lucky to be on! Now I have to hope that USA will have a little faith in the show that cut its cast and moved to a new location and bring it back for another season. This show gets better every season especially this one where it brought back some old favorites like Sean Patrick Flanery and Jennifer Finnegan. Hopefully Johnny Smith will be able to see the future with his Dead Zone and find a way to bring this show back again!!!

So after all of that you would think my DVR would get a a break…no such luck the fall season is coming back full force in the next few weeks and a lot of good shows will be on Fox, CBS and NBC!!!

American Band get its host and its Judges
August 27th, 2007 under Fox. [ Comments: 10 ]

American Band has named its host which is some guy from New Zealand Idol named Dominic Bowden. The Judges are Shelia E who worked with Prince before going solo and releasing Glamorous Life, the Goo Goo Dolls' John Rzeznik and Australian Idol's Ian "Dicko" Dickson according to USA Today. Looking at that list of Judges and host, this show better have good bands because those names won't get them ratings to save their life and I like the Goo Goo Dolls.
American Band premieres on Fox on October 19th and depending what else I am watching will depend if I will tune into this show. What about you guys?

I love Anchorwoman on Fox
August 23rd, 2007 under Fox. [ Comments: 3 ]

Although this is not the best clip from the show, I have to tell you that I absolutely love Anchorwoman on Fox. There is this one woman on the show named Annalisa and she is one of the biggest bitches on reality TV in a long time. Even thought she is a bitch, the rest of the cast and the show is endearing. So tune into this show and enjoy it as much as I do!
UPDATE: Fox canceled Anchorwoman effective immediately. Hopefully the show’s remaining episodes will play out on MySpace.
