‘Knock Knock.’ ‘Who’s there?’ ‘No one, so you’re cancelled!”

If Justin Bieber can’t get you ratings, nothing can. Since that was the case for Knock Knock, Fox pulled the plug on the live show after just two episodes.
This is just another long list of shows that Ryan Seacrest has hosted that has not made it to a second season. Although this is the worst he has ever done.
Don’t feel too bad for him, at least he still has American Idol. Oh, wait… Hey, he gave us The Kardashians, so I guess this is our way of getting revenge on him for that.

Another deserving family gets a house on Home Free!

It is week 2 on Fox’s Home Free, and tonight at 8p the remaining 7 teams of 2 will have to renovate a house that is much harder than last week. That is if they can ever finish the challenge, where the the team that wins gets to pick the teams they want to work with and location in the house they want work in. You would think a challenge placing different tools in a certain order would be easy, but it proves very hard for them.
Then after many many many attempts a winner finally emerges. Now, it is time to work on the home. A home that has been gutted, so that they can work their magic.
Magic they do, and sadly at the end of the night 6 teams move on. I say sadly for them because tonight’s losing team is truly a winner. That because they get to keep the house they spent the last few days working on. Their work is done and now they have a beautiful house to call their own.
To me watching Home Free is worth watching, just to see the new home owner’s reaction when they find out the house is theirs. Besides that, the show is so fast paced, it is exciting to watch. I don’t normally like home improvement shows, but I enjoy this one immensely.

Home Free is the feel good show of the summer!

Each week at 9p on Fox’s Home Free, 9 teams of 2 will work together to renovate a broken down home and turn it into a dream one for a deserving family. What they don’t know is that they are the deserving family who gets the house. That’s right at the end of each episode, one team is going to keep the home they were working on. Before I tell you to get the tissues ready because you are going to cry, I am going to tell you what happens before that.
Nine teams of two, from all walks of life, each need a new house for different reasons. They are giving up their time to renovate a house for complete strangers. They have 5 days to turn a run down house into a beautiful home from inside to out. Each teams has their own skill set and that will help to rebuild the house. They will spend 5 grueling days working on the house 24/7 and when they are done, one team will be going home empty handed. Or so they think…
When the eliminated couple is asked if they want to meet the deserving couple, they will find out that they are that couple. When famed professional contractor Mike Holmes tells them the house is theirs, be prepared for the water to start running from your eyes.
When tonight’s couple is given the news, the husband starts crying hysterically in disbelief. Then it starts to sink in for the wife and she starts to cry. She declares that they can have kids now, and when she does, you will be balling along with them. Happy tears, are the best. And they will be coming every week with this phenomenal show.
All of this renovating and elimination leads up to the season finale, when one team gets their dream home. If you think you cried out all of your tears in the seven weeks leading up to the finale, I am sure you will be able to find many many many more.

When will your favorite Fox shows be back and some spoilers!

Fox not only announced when their old show will be back and when the new ones will debut, they also previewed what’s coming up for Empire and Bones during their season premieres.
EMPIRE:
The series will pick up three months after the shocking arrest and incarceration of Empire Entertainment head LUCIOUS LYON (Terrence Howard). Knowing Lucious won’t be held much longer in prison, COOKIE (Taraji P. Henson) and her allies within the Lyon family make a desperate attempt to seize control of the company. But as the Lyons continue to battle each other, a bigger external threat emerges that could force them to unite.
BONES:
Picking up six months after the Season 10 finale, BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel) and BOOTH (David Boreanaz) have moved on to a new town and new jobs, having given up their old life and settled into a blissful death-free existence. But a murder unlike any other draws them back to investigate with their former colleagues at the Jeffersonian and FBI. At 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT, SLEEPY HOLLOW returns after a disquieting break in the demonic action, as our heroes – ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison) and ABBIE MILLS (Nicole Beharie) – adjust to a world seemingly without Moloch, witchy wives, evil sons and headless ex-best friends. However, nothing is ever quite as it seems, and the eerie calm will quickly give way to the next tribulation, driven by a surprising supernatural presence that will challenge Crane and Mills in ways they never imagined.
You knew that Bones and Booth weren’t going to be able to stay away from the Jeffersonian.
The most upsetting news from the Fox press release is that Christina Tosi will also be a judge on MasterChef Junior. I hope she is a better judge on that show than she is on MC Senior. She is so hard for me to watch, that I am thinking of giving up the reality cooking competition.
When it comes to the new comedies, I can tell you that both of them have very strong premieres. So mark your calendars for them and the other Fox shows.

BOOM! is the bomb!
June 25th, 2015 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRA-GZvyBy4
BOOM! is a game show that is a combination of many other game shows to create one BOOMtastic game show.
Three contestants, who are either friends, family or co-workers, compete together to win $500,000. One member from the team goes up as host Tom Papa asks them questions. Each question has multiple answers and each answer corresponds to a color wire on the bomb. The person answering the question has to guess what are the correct answers and cut the corresponding wire. If they cut all the correct wires, the bomb is diffused. If they guess the wrong, it explodes a liquid substance on not only them but the audience too. So the studio audience actually wants them to get the right the answer. While the audience at home, is praying for wrong answers.
If the contestant guesses all the right answers, then them and the team are still in the game and they collect a cash prize. If the bomb goes BOOM!, then they are out and the remaining contestants are still in the game. If at least one of them is around for the 7th and final question, then they have a chance to quadruple their winnings. If not, they go home with whatever they won up until the third person was eliminated.
The game starts off easy and they only have to guess which three answers are correct out of four clues. But as the game goes on, there are more clues and more wires to cut. All with a clock counting them down until the bomb goes BOOM!
The game is as thrilling and as messy as it sounds. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it from the comfort of my home, and would never ever want to be in the studio audience.
If you like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Figure It Out, then you are going to love BOOM! It is a game show on Red Bull and coffee.
