Kim Kardashian made her leading lady debut in All’s Fair, and some critics declared it the worst show ever. Even though people hate watching it, they are watching it. Therefore, Hulu and Ryan Murphy announced today that the legal procedural about female divorce attorneys, which also stars Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close, will be back for a second season.
I have to admit the first two episodes that dropped were absolute dreck, the latter three have been much better.
Murphy was having his Capote moment in those first two episodes with his swans, and now he is back doing wild and wacky storylines with stunt casting, instead of forcing us to listen to what vaginal plastic surgery Kim Kardashian got. Yes, that was actually a topic during a scene on the show.
Thankfully, she is doing less acting (if that is what you can call it). Good thing she has her law career to fall back on. Too soon? Plus, he gave Nash a storyline that made the series watchable.
Are you still hate watching, or do you not hate yourself as much as I do?
A few months ago, ABC announced that they were picking up another 911, and it will be based in Nashville, Tennessee.
As soon as I heard that, I was like, they need to hire some Country music stars. And today, they revealed that LeAnn Rimes and Brad Paisley’s wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The actresses will be joining Chris O’Donnell and Jessica Capshaw as part of the Ryan Murphy first responders’ procedural.
Personally, I was thinking someone like Jelly Roll, but they are equally as great.
Niecy Nash and her wife, Jessica Betts, spent some time at a spa to relax.
While she was there, she wore barely any makeup and a one-piece bathing suit. She looked so youthful that I can’t believe she was 54 years old. Can you believe it?
I need to know her secret because whatever it is, it is working.
Before Niecy Nash worked for the FBI on The Rookie: Feds, the NYPD Blue needed her help on a case. She looks the same now as she did when she was 31 in that 2001 episode.
The 75th Emmy Awards were very special on Monday, not because of who won but because it was a true tribute to television.
Anthony Anderson did a great job as the host and showed us that he is a true fan of television during all the reunions that the producers set up.
He was not the only one enjoying having all of those legends share the stage with him. Niecy Nash, who won her first Emmy, also had a fan girl moment.
The actress tried to remain calm as she met Sally Struthers. Nash told Gloria that she and her wife watch All in the Family every night before they go to sleep. To which Struthers said to her, I hope it makes you laugh.
And Nash told her what really makes her laugh is the way Struthers cried on the show. She added no one cries as comedically as Struthers does. And then they cried together, just like Gloria.
Sometimes, I wonder if actors appreciate those who walked so they could run. And it is nice to see that two of Monday’s newer stars were grateful to the older ones who came to celebrate with them.
I want to thank Nash and Anderson for respecting those who came before them. I just don’t get that vibe from a lot of the other people who won.
I also want to thank Nash for sharing this sweet video because it brought a huge smile to my face, just like Niecy’s acceptance speech!
