Prince very rarely appeared on television, let alone a sitcom. But the late singer was a fan of New Girl, and he made a guest appearance on it. The writers wrote a party scene for him, and they invited a few celebrities to be on that episode. Two of the celebrities they asked were Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, but wait you don’t remember seeing them on that episode?
Zooey Deschanel explained why we didn’t see them to Conan O’Brien on his TBS show yesterday. The adorkable actress said that on the day of Prince’s taping, she was studying her lines when a PA came in and frantically asked for the all scripts and call sheets. Then when she went outside she saw that PA burning all of the papers she just took. Turns out, when Prince’s people asked which celebrities were going to be on the show, Deschanel says that they said they hope it isn’t a Kardashian. Thus, why there was no evidence of them ever being on that special episode.
We all know that Prince was a genius, this is just further proof of that.

On the last episode of The Last Man on Earth, we got some happy news. Carol (Kristen Schaal) and Tandy (Will Forte) are expecting their first child together. Tonight at 9:30p on Fox, we get some sad news. The virus is back which means we finally learn more about it. By the end of the episode it will claim one victim. To find who has it and who dies, you will have tune in. Make sure you have the tissues ready because there will also be tears. A lot of aughs too, but also some tears.
When we saw Will Forte with the right side of his face completely shaved off for The Last Man on Earth, we never thought anyone else would do that to themselves. We were wrong.
When Kevin Gibson was arrested in Miami last week, he was sporting the same beard in his mugshot that was posted by WKMG. I guess he is a really big fan of the Fox sitcom or he lost a bet to someone who is. Either way let’s hope this is the last time we see this hairdon’t because it is one of the ugliest looks ever and that says a lot. But it is sure is funny how long they have been keeping the joke running on the show!

Tonight at 9p, Lucifer grows tired of the human race when someone is killing in his name. What he doesn’t know, is the group that is trying to summon Lucifer (Tom Ellis) are not the people actually doing the murders. The person doing that is someone he knows. Everyone is a suspect including him.
When someone he has had conflict with in the past is murdered, he becomes the main suspect. How will he get out of this?
That all leads up to next week’s suspenseful and surprise-filled season finale. One that begins with a shocking moment and doesn’t stop until the final seconds. That last reveal sets things up for the second season. Why talk about next week now? Because I won’t be able to preview it next week without spoiling any of the episode. It’s one of those episodes that is so devilishly good, you don’t want to miss a single second. But you have to watch tonight’s episode in order to truly love it. Martina (Carrie Preston) is counseling a mother (Betty White) and daughter (Jane Leeves), who hate each other, and the two women become part of her life. The mother takes care of Martina’s sick husband, Mike (Patrick Warburton) and that makes him miss his mother who walked out on him when he was 7 years old.
Not only does White rub her hands all over Mike, she wants to rub her hands all over his dad (Stacy Keach). She tells him that his wife (Carlease Burke) is not going to Bible Study, but instead she is cheating on him. Is she? Wait until you find out what she is really doing.
White is also offering relationship advice to Mike and Martina’s younger daughter, Shea (Miranda Cosgrove), who a lot of chemistry with her internship partner. Can the microbiologists keep the flame extinguished?
Meanwhile, Leeves is helping Mike and Martina’s oldest daughter, Stella (Mia Serafino), work on her British accent for an audition. In turn, Stella is giving her a much needed makeover so she can start dating again.
Back to Mike, having someone mother over him, makes him want his own mother back. That gets us into the second episode, where the ladies in his life try to find her. When they do, they discover that she is one of those crazy cat ladies who hoards (Carol Kane). How will they make her presentable to reconnect with the son she hasn’t seen in 40 years?
You just have to watch this hour of so many laughs, your stomach will be hurting for 2 hours.
