Lucifer makes a pact with himself for a third season!
February 13th, 2017 under Fox, Lucifer. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=22&v=XLsM-195I4w
Even though Fox was late to the game on picking up the second half of Lucifer’s second season, and they are wasting no time by giving the devilishly good show a 22-episode third season. The network announced today that it will join Empire, The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers on their 2017 Fall lineup and I can’t wait for new episodes.

Granted those will come with the second half of the second season starting on May 1st. According to the press release, here is what we can expect, “Lucifer (Tom Ellis) has gone off the grid and cut off all contact from his family and the police department, following Chloe’s (Lauren German) near-death. But the murder of an up-and-coming guitarist causes him to resurface – with a new mystery woman. Meanwhile, Lucifer’s mom (Tricia Helfer) realizes she may have found a way to finally get them back to Heaven.” Who is that mystery woman? We will have to wait two and a half long months to find out. It might feel like Hell, but Heaven is a place on Earth when Lucifer is on!

That sounded better in my head. When it comes to Lucifer, it always sounds like a good idea to tune in to this Monday night drama that gets more enticing with each new episode. This is one of the few shows, I insist on watching live and not waiting to watch it on my DVR. It is that addictive. Kind of like the Devil has a hold on me.

Someone is going to die on tonight’s Lucifer midseason finale
January 30th, 2017 under Fox, Lucifer. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on Fox, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) will do anything to save Chloe’s (Lauren German) life, but at what cost to him and more importantly to her? The man, who has the antidote that can cure her, took it with him to the grave, and now finding someone else who has it is proving to be impossible and time consuming. So time consuming the Detective is getting sicker and weaker, and it doesn’t look like she is going to make it. Her daughter, Trixie (Scarlett Estevez) and Amenadiel (D. B. Woodside) are holding a bedside vigil at her hospital bed while her friends will do all they can do to save her. Even doing the unthinkable. But is that enough?
By the end of the midseason finale someone, who has been in every episode, will die and so will somebody else. Their deaths will have an impact on everyone around them, an impact you would never expect.
Therefore, bring the tissues because you are going to need them in this episode that shows a whole new side to several of out characters. Everyone brings their best performances tonight and you really don’t want to miss them.
Everyone but Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) who is just her normal perfect self that doesn’t need to change. She is the person we most want to be friends with and have as our friend because she will defend you until the end.
When it comes to Lucifer, the show, as a whole, this is one of the very few shows that I make sure to watch live every week because I adore it more and more with each new episode. It is unlike anything else on television these days and the acting and writing is always phenomenal. It is a great escape from reality and we all need that.

My Kitchen Rules totally rules!
January 12th, 2017 under Andrew Dice Clay, Brandy and Ray J, Fox, Lance Bass. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu9hvJlB31U
I try to watch some screeners without knowing anything about them, and I am glad that My Kitchens Rules was one of them. That was me and I am going to tell you why you need to watch this Fox show tonight at 9p.
Brandy and Ray J Norwood, Lance Bass and his mom, Andrew Dice Clay and his wife (yes he has one), Naomi Judd and her husband Larry Strickland, and Brandi Glanville and her ex-husband’s wife’s ex-husband Dean Sheremet all cook for the other ones and only one team will win.
On tonight’s season premiere Brandy and Ray J host the first dinner party at their home for everyone including professional Chefs Cat Cora and Curtis Stone followed by the Basses at their abode for the second outing. Each team has to prepare an appetizer and a meal for everyone, and then the dinner party guest and the Chefs vote how yummy the food was. The team with the lowest scores after everyone has entertained goes home until there is one.
Those are the logistics, here’s what’s not in the description. Brandi Glanville is that bitch you didn’t want to invite but had to and all she does is say stuff that insults everyone that is there. You just want to kick her out, but you can’t. She is just horrible and at each party she says something so shocking and rude you wonder why they don’t say anything to her. Since you are not there, it is fun to watch.
The rest of them are also entertaining, just not as much. Andrew Dice Clay is much nicer than you thought and funnier. Larry Strickland is the coolest one of the bunch. Ray J will surprise you while Brandy with a y isn’t taking Brandi with an i’s sh!t! Then there’s Lance Bass and he is just as you would expect. But then again his mom is there, so he has to be on his best behavior.
All of this as we find out that celebrities can cook. But the best dish served is this show, so make a reservation because you don’t want miss it.

The Mick is a real kick a$$ comedy!
January 1st, 2017 under Fox, Kaitlin Olson. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFtNzGUl5aA
If you are looking for a sweet family comedy, then The Mick is not for you. If you love to laugh, then Fox comedy that debuts tonight 8p is for you.
Down on her luck Mackenzie (Kaitlin Olson) finally decides to visit her filthy rich sister, who is holding one of her very ritzy parties. Just as the two are reconnecting, the FBI swoops in and arrest Mick’s sister and brother-in-law. Her sister asks Mick to take care of her three kids while she’s in jail and will pay her for her trouble.
The oldest Sabrina (Sofia Black D’Elia) is the spoiled teenage b!tch who mistakenly thinks she can one up her Aunt. The two will go to head to head a lot and it is shocking either one survives their battles. There will be at least one death as a consequence and it will leave you whowling!
Then there is Chip (Thomas Barbusca) who is a snobby teen that everyone hates. He thinks money can get him out of all types of trouble, it cannot. That won’t stop him from trying.
Finally, there is gullible and lovable Ben (Jack Stanton) and the 6 year old always finds trouble wherever he goes. He doesn’t mean to, it just has a way of finding him.
Tonight Mick gets to know her niece and nephews and they get to know her. Which means they will all hate each other as families do. But when their parents decide to flee the Country, they have no choice but to become a family. Just like one, they won’t listen to each other.
Thankfully they have Alba (Carla Jimenez) the Maid to clean up their messes. Not only that, she nails every scene she is. She is the biggest scene stealer in this sitcom that is full of scene stealers!
You will be loving this show so much, that you will be saying, “C U Next Tuesday,” every week until the next episode airs again at 8:30p the following Tuesday!

Is The Mick the first broadcast show to get a Red Band Trailer?
December 12th, 2016 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b00ug27WFu0
We are 20 days away from the series premiere of The Mick and Fox is giving us a huge reason to watch. They released a Red Band Trailer for the sitcom and you will see and hear things you won’t be able to see on the show itself. I know this because I watched the first two episodes and we never hear the F or D words. Which is sad because they makes the raunchy but highlarious comedy even raunchier and more highlarious.
So mark your calendars for January 1st because you are not going to want to miss this show. It is exactly what your hangover ordered!
