Ellen DeGeneres was watching Bird Box and a lightbulb went off in her head. She said to herself, let me blindfold Andy and have him follow me around as I tap on the bell like Sandra Bullock’s movie kids did in the movie. The ding would draw him towards her like Boy and Girl were drawn to their movie mom.
Since she asked him to do it in front of the cameras, he had no choice but to say yes. A decision, he would wind up regretting.
With each ding, he feared that his boss would scare him again. Even though he knew it was coming, he still was very concentrated on the sound of the bell. So much so, any strange noise would be amplified and make the scare worse. Which is what Ellen was hoping for when she set off an air blast right in his path. Causing him to curse on the air and walk off the set.
Which I can’t blame him because it is what I would have done. But then again, I might have been a good dog and came back on stage when she started calling me again with that freaking bell.
Poor Andy, I hope she at least pays him well because he deserves a raise every time she scares him. Although at the rate she scares him, he would make more money than her in no time.
Ever since Kevin Hart resigned from hosting the Oscars, he has not done any press. Now that he has a movie coming out next week, he is back doing the talk show circuit. His first stop was Ellen and Degeneres talked to him about homophobic tweets.
The host gave him six minutes to talk about it and he took all the time allotted to him. It was all me, I and Kevin Hart. Not, I am sorry that what I said was hurtful and I have learned a lot in the last 10 years since I sent out those tweets. All he did say about it was, “I know I do not have a homophobic bone in my body.” That is not enough. Which is why many people are mad at him,
Well, not DeGeneres. That is because she called the Academy and asked them to give Hart the hosting job back. They told her they wanted him back. At first, he was hesitant, but then he told the host he reevaluate his decision.
Even though the Academy said they would take him back, no word if ABC will. That is because they fired James Gunn and Roseanne Barr for the same thing. Although, Gunn’s case is much closer to Hart’s and he did not get his directing job back. Gunn jumped studios.
Therefore, I do not think Hart should host the Oscars. I am saying that even after lobbying for him to get the job for nearly two years, with The Rock.
Now, when it comes to him whining about having to apologize over again. It is part of the job. Hugh Grant, Rob Lowe, Charlie Sheen and Christian Bale have to do it, so does Hart. You don’t want to become a Michael Richards. Remember him?
I think Hart needs to get a crisis management publicist to help him. Then he needs to talk to African-American gay men to understand why his tweets are so harmful to them and their community.
Adam Levine is on Ellen today, and he shared a story with her about the time he saw a huge rat in his house eating dog food. The singer said that when the creature started to run away, he chased after it.
Ellen DeGeneres told him he was brave for doing that. As she was saying that, a man dressed as a rat jumped out of the ottoman, scaring the rat poop out of him. Proving he is not as brave as he thought.
Working a stripper pole is a really good exercise. Therefore, a lot of people are getting them for their homes. Instead of getting installed professionally, they are doing it themselves. What is the worst that can happen? Let’s just say if you say timber, they will go down like a cut tree.
Ellen DeGeneres put several fails together in one video and we get lots of laughs. It is not the first time that someone on one of those things went down. It is Friday, so the jokes will just get worse from here.
Blake Shelton is no longer People’s Sexiest Man Alive, so now he is free to talk about what it was like during his year-long reign to Ellen DeGeneres.
The first thing he did was wish the new person (Idris Elba) better luck than he had when it was announced he was that man. Even his friends thought he was a bad choice.
Then Ellen wanted to know if his girlfriend Gwen Stefani expected more from him. The Voice coach said, “She did, It’s like supposed to be a superpower or whatever I’m saying.” Then he put his head down in shame and added, “I don’t think she felt the power.”
Even Shelton cannot figure out why she is with him. He is convinced there is something wrong with her because she is dating him. Personally, I think it is the other way around. He is cute with dimples and he is very funny in a self-deprecating way.
