A reworking of “Human Touch”😷Lyrics below: EVERYONE'S AT HOME ON THEIR COMPUTER WITH THEIR SCREAMING KIDS AND BURNED OUT SPOUSE, GOT RUBBER GLOVES AND HAZMAT SUITS BUT GOT NO TOILET PAPER IN THE HOUSE, WERE SANITIZED AND ISOLATED ALONE IN THIS INFECTED WORLD, DEATH VALLEY’D BE A REAL GOOD BATTLE LINE, A TENT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE WOULD SUIT ME FINE, WOULDN’T HAVE TO WASH MY HANDS FIFTY TIMES, SICK OF COUNTING TO 20, STEP BACK GIRL… WE DON’T NEED THE HUMAN TOUCH, WE’RE ALL FREED FROM THE HUMAN TOUCH, GOT MY WEED YEAH I DON’T NEED MUCH, WE’LL SUCCEED IF WE ALL DON’T TOUCH, SOCIAL DISTANCE! I KEEP IT TOO! NO I DON’T TOUCH MY FACE – I USE MY ELBOW WHEN I NEED TO SNEEZE, AND IF I COUGH ON THE STREET YEAH THEY ALL LOOK AT ME LIKE IM DISEASED, I CAN'T GET TESTED BUT TRUMP ASSURED ME I COULD GO GET ONE ANYTIME,
UH HUH, THE STORES ARE EMPTY OF THE STUFF I LIKE, MY ONLY VALID OPTION IS A HUNGER STRIKE, I'VE CANCELLED ALL MY GIGS AND PUT AWAY MY MIC, YOU GOT LOVE I WANT IT! FROM WAY OVER THERE! WE DON’T NEED THE HUMAN TOUCH, WE DON’T NEED THE HUMAN TOUCH, GOT MY WEED YEAH I DON’T NEED MUCH, WE’LL SUCCEED IF WE ALL DON’T TOUCH, SOCIAL DISTANCE! I KEEP IT TOO!

ack in 1983, Rick Springfield told us we all need the Human Touch. In 2020, you don’t dare say that because of Coronavirus. Therefore, he rewrote his tune to make it appropriate for today’s world.

Since we all need to sing and laugh, he posted his version of We Don’t Need the Human Touch on Instagram. I cannot say it is better than the original. What I can say is that it is exactly what we all need!

If you never heard the catchy tune that was ahead of its time, then click here!

Writer/director Nancy Meyers shows us how to use thongs as face masks!

Since no one can find face masks, even medical professionals, legendary writer, director, and producer Nancy Meyers came up with an ingenious alternative to protect our faces during the Coronavirus pandemic. She sent that instructional video to her friend Diane Keaton, who starred in her movies Baby Boom (I majored in advertising because of this film) and Something’s Gotta Give; and the Oscar-winning actress shared it with us.

All you have to do is find a clean thong (you don’t want to go in public with a dirty one), and place it on your face with your ears, helping to secure it over your nose and mouth.

While she looked beautiful in it, the same cannot be said about her friend Rob. However, he did a better job with it than Meyers’ mum. Therefore, if you are going to suggest this for the older people in our lives, we are going to have to give them our undies because granny panties don’t work!

It is nice to see her creative genius at work! Now, we know why her movies like Private Benjamin, Father of the Bride, The Parent Trap, and It’s Complicated made us laugh as hard as they did.

Maggie Grace was the baddest bitch on the Lost island
March 25th, 2020 under Coronavirus, Lost. [ Comments: 3 ]

Maggie Grace and Evangeline Lilly were the only two single ladies on the Lost island, and Grace’s chracter was the first one to die. While she was gone too soon, Lilly will never forget her now.

Lilly posted on Instagram, “#morningtea ☕️ Just dropped my kids off at gymnastics camp. They all washed their hands before going in. They are playing and laughing. #businessasusual”

Needless to say, people were pissed by her comments. However, no one put her in her place better than her co-star.

Hey there, I read your pre-edit Post and I find it concerning. There’s no need to panic, but at the same time this is about all of us- the vulnerable, the immunocompromised, older folks. Sure. it’s a free country, but how about choosing to exercise some of that wonderful freedom to have some compassion, trust the extensive science here and not overwhelm health system. No doctor should have to choose which patients get life saving care and which patients get sent home to die- the sort of triage that is tragically happening in Italy right now. Please out Johns Hopkins, Stat News, think about how these small decisions effect your dad and those in your community as ventilators run out-and as you use your influence on such a large group of other people. I say this with and humility, please rethink this. Your kids will be just fine without going to gymnastics, I promise ..1 Be well. PS Daniel said he is doing a lot better btw. I don’t know, Maybe you guys wanna chat?

Daniel Dae Kim revealed last week that he tested positive for Coronavirus.

BTW I hope Jack is in the jungle because he needs to stay out of this fight.

New Amsterdam pulls its epidemic episode with Daniel Dae Kim
March 25th, 2020 under Coronavirus, Ryan Eggold. [ Comments: none ]

New Amsterdam is based on NY’s Bellvue Hospital, a real-life hospital that is going through hell right now during the Coronavirus.

The show was expected to fictionalize an episode with their hospital being hit by a flu epidemic, and Daniel Dae Kim, who tested positive for COVID-19, plays a patient on it. He is not the only member of the show’s family to test positive. In light of everything going on, it will not be one of the remaining episodes that airs this season.

New Amsterdam creator, executive producer, and showrunner Schulner explained the decision to Deadline, “The world needs a lot less fiction right now, and a lot more facts.

“We showed what happens when our hospital has to erect tents in the parking lot because every bed is taken.” Something NYC is actually seeing on their streets today.

New Amsterdam will air repeats at 9p for the next two weeks and then the season finale will air on April 14th at that time. The epidemic episode is expected to air at a different date.

The curtain goes down on the Tony Awards, for now
March 25th, 2020 under Broadway, Coronavirus. [ Comments: none ]

The Tony Awards announced today that the show will not go on on June 7th as planned because of Coronavirus. Don’t worry that fat lady has not sung yet because the show will be rescheduled once the lights on Broadway go on again. As of now, the curtain is expected to go up on April 12th, but I doubt it will be that soon.

It was not an easy decision, but they say, “The health and safety of the Broadway community, artists and fans are of the utmost importance to us.” Sadly Broadway legendary writer Terrence McNally passed away from the virus, while Moulin Rouge’s Aaron Tveit has tested positive.

When it is time for them to do the show, I am sure it will be the most spectacular show is Tony history! They should have Billy Porter host the Great White Way’s biggest night with some help from Lin-Manuel Miranda.
