Remember when Sad Keanu Reeves was a thing? Well, he has nothing on Sad Fat Thor singing Hurt by Johnny Cash and Nine Inch Nails. Now, I am beyond depressed and I have not seen any of the Thor or Avengers movies.
I feel such a connection with his emotions. It really reached into my soul.
I know that Chris Hemsworth said he was done with playing the superhero, but he can’t do one more movie as Sad Fat Thor?
If you are like me, then you have only seen a handful of the Marvel Comics movies. Therefore, you want to see Avengers: Endgame, but you know you will have no idea what is going on because you missed so much of the story leading up to it.
Well, Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show has people like us covered. He got several of the superheroes to sing a cover of Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start the Fire to tell the backstory we missed. Now I feel comfortable going to see the film. Once, I can actually find a screening of it that is not sold old.
BTW Watch this video all the way until the end for a very sweet ending that will bring a tear to your eye.
Jimmy Kimmel Live asked the cast of The Avengers cast to read a children’s story about Thanos. It started off nicely with Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans. Then they got to Wakanda and that was it. At that point, the story went to hell. Hopefully, the movie will have a better ending, but since it is called Endgame, I doubt it.
Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo are doing publicity for Avengers: Endgame and they decided to give the press a show. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and The Hulk sang The Beatles’ Hey Jude for the reporters and thankfully they are reviewing the movie and not that performance. If they did, then we would not get another Avengers movie from these guys. Oh, wait…
We know that Chris Hemsworth was once named Sexiest Man Alive, and now I think we can name him the cutest one too. Here he is feeding a Quokka with his mouth like mama bird feeds her baby.
Although, he says it did not come naturally, “Spent 3 weeks crawling around the dirt, studying the Quokkas movements, mimicking their language and eventually gained their trust and was accepted as one of them, I now go by the name Quokkachris #rottnestislandwa @australia @rottnestislandwa”
It was worth it because I am sure he will never forget a moment like this and neither will we.
