James Corden hosted the Tony Awards for the first time yesterday and he opened the show with a tribute to several of Broadway’s biggest musical numbers. He started it off by telling the story of a kid, himself, who one day dreamed of being on that stage to actually being on that stage belting out showtunes like Don’t Cry for Me Argentina from Evita, Tomorrow from Annie and Don’t Rain on My Parade from Funny Girl. Proving that the funny man can host more than just a talk show at 12:30a on CBS.
Have you been wondering what the full version of Jabba Flow from Star Wars: The Force Awakens sounds like? Well not only did Lin-Manuel Miranda and J.J. Abrams perform the song they wrote outside the backstage door of Hamilton, Lucasfilm made it available to download on iTunes.
What a wonderful present from them to us on May the Fourth Be With You. So party like you are at Maz Kanata’s castle because you know you want to.
Michael MacILwee dressed up as T-Rex and danced to I Hope I Get It from A Chorus Line. I think we can all agree he got it. I mean, not only did he pull off the Jazz number flawlessly, he did it in a huge costume that would make walking seem difficult.
Someone get him on Broadway because he is a star!

After a 16 year hiatus, Cats is returning to Broadway this summer. The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical used to be the longest running show on Broadway, and now it has a chance to reclaim that title if The Phantom of the Opera ever closes.
So if you have never had a chance to see Cats, skip it. It sucks.
Wayne Brady is a good looking man, and turns out he is equally as good looking as a Drag Queen. The Let’s Make a Deal host started his Broadway run in Kinky Boots this weekend, and he will be causing a lot of people to have kinky thoughts. So kinky, it will knock their boots off. Seriously, don’t you think he looks super fierce?
