In 2004 the world shed a tear when Ken and Barbie announced that they were breaking up, and now 7 years later on Valentine’s Day there were two Tweets heard around the world that brought joy to many people. Barbie said, “Yes, it’s true… @OfficialKen and I are officially together again!” and Ken said “Happy Valentine’s Day everybody! Lucky for me, it seems Cupid’s arrow has struck @BarbieStyle… we’re back together!” No word if they are setting a date or when they plan on bringing a few more Skippers into the world, but you know their fairytale romance will give girls of all ages hope that true love exists!!! I know changed my outlook on it!

We haven’t seen Barbie in a while and I think now we know why. Boy she has put on a few pounds to put it nicely. I guess since the Bratz Dolls and the American Gilrs Dolls took over the market for little girls, Barbie didn’t feel the need to keep her longstanding figure and ate what she wanted and then some. Hopefully when she decides to lose the extra baggage, she will do it wisely and we will get a Jenny Craig Barbie.
Mariah Carey is doing an album of duets and here is one of the videos from her upcoming flop. Up Out My Face is her duet with Nicki Minaj and that song was so bad, I had to watch the video in mute. Daily Mail had pictures from the video, so I thought I would check it out to see if it was as awful as the pictures and it was worst then I thought. I am trying to remember the days when Mimi actually released good music, but those days seem so long and far away. She needs a hero like her first husband Tommy Mottola to save her career because it is going down the drain faster than you can say flush.
MTV Movie Blog posted a picture of the the Twilight Barbie Dolls and I think they are the worst rendition Barbie has done to date. The Bella Swan one is too feminine to look like Kristen Stewart. The Edward Cullen aka Robert Pattinson one looks more like Frankenstein than a Vampire. And finally the only new one is for Jacob Black and it makes it look like Taylor Lautner used steroids to get those six pack abs. I say steroids because there is no bulge in those shorts and steroids are infamous for causing permanent shrinkage. Would you buy one of those dolls?
BTW all three of the New Moon stars will be on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (the only talk show to have all three one together) this Friday (the same day the movie comes out) at 12:05a and below is a preview where Taylor Lautner admitted he needed to have something in his mouth every two hours!
