Some of the most exciting things to watch on competition shows like American Idol, America’s Got Talent and The X Factor are the auditions, but that is because they are edited down. If you are there Judging them all day, I guess they can get kind of boring. At least that is what Simon Cowell admitted to Us Weekly when he revealed 25 Things You Don’t Know About Me. He said, “My pre-show ritual is breathing in oxygen through a bottle. I fall asleep sometimes because I get so bored in auditions, so I do oxygen to wake me up.” I guess there are only so many times you can hear the same song over and over and over again.
On that note, he also came clean on something I agree with him about. He said, “There were loads of times when I thought the wrong person won on American Idol.” I am guessing that he is referring to Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks, who else do you think he is talking about?
The 25 Things weren’t only about his shows, he also shared with Us that he likes baths, hates clowns and plans on cloning his dogs. Let’s pray that there is a clown act on America’s Got Talent this season. Not only will that keep him, it will also give him nightmares if he accidentally falls asleep.
While most people would be excited to meet Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Hans Solo or Chewbacca, not Simon Cowell. He said, “Dreams do come true,” when he met Darth Vader. That explains so much. Now we know what made Anakin Skywalker cross over to the Dark Side. He auditioned for one of Simon Cowell’s shows and the King of Mean rejected him in his own special way.
As we know actresses need to be skinny for their jobs, so that means they can’t eat the things they love like donuts. So what happens when they are on a hiatus and a there is chocolate covered one in front of her? If you are Katharine McPhee you curse it out before you gobble it down like you haven’t any food for a year! I guess that makes everything OK or maybe that is the secret how they keep their figures so slim.
I don’t know about you, but I am going to try that diet ASAP!

If she moved like that on American Idol, then maybe she would’ve won. But if you think about it, she has the biggest career out of anyone from her season. So technically she did win!
