Contestants from American Idol have competed on other reality shows like Kimberly Locke was on Celebrity Fit Club, Clay Aiken did The Celebrity Apprentice and Kelly Pickler dazzled on Dancing with the Stars. Well now it is time for Ruben Studdard to join them because People is reporting that the Velvet Teddy Bear is going to be on The Biggest Loser.
Hopefully he will finally lose the weight and keep it off for good this time.
Jennifer Hudson was guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday and she told the ABC late night host that she has problem recognizing actors. So she told him a story that back when she was a contestant on American Idol, she went to the premiere of Kill Bill: Vol 2 with the other singers who were still on the show at the time. While she was watching it, she “fell asleep on the movie.” So when they got out of the film, QT asked them what they thought of it. Because she didn’t recognize him, she said to him “OMG! That movie was horrible. It was so boring.” Then someone finally got her attention to tell her who she just gave that sh!tty review to and she was embarrassed. So how did he react to her saying his movie was crap, she said he laughed it off because he thought she was joking. But maybe as time went on, he realized she wasn’t. And because of that, I don’t think we will ever be seeing the Oscar winner in any of his movies ever.
Kelly Clarkson had some exciting news to share with her fans, so she broke the happy news on Twitter! The first American Idol winner Tweeted, “I’M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever :)” She did not say how Reba Mcintyre’s stepson Brandon Blackstock, whom she has been dating since February, proposed to her, but I am sure it was very romantic.
A few weeks ago Ellen DeGeneres asked her if she was engaged, she said she was not…yet. She then explained, “We love each other. We’re totally going to get married one day.” Then she added, “He has two children. I’m new.” So I have a feeling his kids gave their dad their approval to marry her, and who can blame them afterall she is Kelly Clarkson! She is just so darn likable!
