Tonight at the Grammys Adele sang George Michael’s 1996 song FastLove as a tribute to the singer that died less than two months ago. When the song took a tumble, she cursed. Then she said, “I’m sorry for swearing and I’m sorry for starting again. Can we please start it again? I’m sorry, I can’t mess this up for him. I’m sorry. I can’t.”
She stared it over again and it went off without a hitch. So pitch perfect Michael wouldn’t let the sun go down on her for it.
As beautiful as it was, I wish she would’ve picked a song he was more known for. She could’ve slowed down Faith and there wouldn’t have been a dry in the house or at home. Picking one of his lesser known tunes is not really celebrating his career as much as one we all know. He was one of the two late artists who got a special tribute and it was for the reason that his music touched several generations and will keep doing so for many generations to come. This tribute will be forgotten before she can sing the word Hello. It wasn’t bad, it just could’ve been more.
The other legendary singer who got a special tribute tonight was Prince who was a musical King. The man, who died last April, could play over 100 instruments and make music that will last several lifetimes. He was honored by a band founded, The Time and Bruno Mars, who takes inspiration from him. It is something we can all go crazy about because it is a number that perfectly captures the singer’s essence. Let’s Go Crazy over Prince one last time at the Grammys!
Last year James Corden surprised us with a star studded Christmas Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show, and this year he followed it up with a bigger one. He asked Mariah Carey to sit in the drivers seat as they sang her huge Christmas hit, All I Want for Christmas. But what we didn’t know, he has been working on this since January. He had past passengers like Adele, Gwen Stefani, Elton John, Lady Gaga and shockingly Red Hot Chili Peppers sing the Billboard Holiday Chart Topper with him and created this epic version of the addictive tune. Now we have a new Christmas Classic for the years to come.
Adele is on the US part of the tour. After performing for thousands of adoring fans, all she wants to do is take off all of that makeup. That includes removing the best cat eye makeup in the World.

We know that Adele has the voice of an angel and now we see she can fly like one of them. While she was in Seattle for a tour stop, she tried out indoor skydiving. The best way to be chasing pavements if you are going to try skydiving.
By her face, I can’t tell if she is enjoying her time at iFly or not, but I will assume that she is. She deserves all the happiness she gets because she gives us so much happiness.
We are so used to seeing Adele with thick black eyeliner that we never really wondered what the songstress looks like without it. We no longer have to wonder because she shared some photos of herself without any makeup on. Proving that she is just as beautiful to our eyes as her voice is to our ears.
