Krispy Kreme has created four magical donuts from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that people in Hogwarts and outside of it can enjoy. Well, everyone but Gellert Grindelwald and Lord Voldemort.
The four donuts are:
Gryffindor™ Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with cookie butter flavored Kreme™, dipped in red icing and Biscoff® cookie crumble, topped with golden icing drizzles and the Gryffindor™ crest.
Slytherin™ Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut topped with chocolate and green buttercreme flavored swirls, chocolate cookie sugar blend, and the Slytherin™ crest.
Hufflepuff™ Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with brown butter toffee flavored custard, dipped in golden yellow icing, and topped with black chocolate drizzle, cookie crunch, and the Hufflepuff™ crest.
Ravenclaw™ Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in blueberry flavored icing, topped with the Ravenclaw™ sprinkles and crest.
Shhh. Don’t tell anyone. But there is a fifth limited edition donut.
Sorting Hat™ Doughnut is a filled doughnut, with a mystery-colored Kreme™ representing one of the four Hogwarts Houses, then dipped in chocolate flavored icing, sprinkled with shimmering gold stars and gold sugar, and topped with the Sorting Hat™ piece. Take a bite to see which house you will reveal. The Sorting Hat doughnut is sold separately in a limited-edition specialty box, while supplies last.
“We’re channeling the beloved magic of Harry Potter™ and the Houses of Hogwarts™ for a collection that is truly bewitching,” said Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Officer for Krispy Kreme. “But the magic is fleeting, and so are these doughnuts, so don’t miss your chance to try them!”
The yummy treats will cast their spell on us starting on August 18th.
Oh, and you need a potion to wash them down with, and they have that too.
Golden Snitch™ Latte, a rich golden caramel toffee-inspired latte, topped with whipped cream, Biscoff® cookie crumble, and a sprinkle of golden shimmer sugar.
On Tuesday in the wee hours of the morning, Taylor Swift announced that she was releasing her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. But she did not say when we could own it.
Today, she revealed that it will be released, get your calendars up on your phones, on October 3rd.
She also shared the titles of the 12 songs that will be on the record:
The Fate of Ophelia
Elizabeth Taylor
Opalite
Father Figure
Eldest Daughter
Ruin the Friendship
Actually Romantic
Wi$h Li$t
Wood
Cancelled!
Honey
The Life of a Showgirl featuring Sabrina Carpenter
I really hope that Ruin the Friendship is about Blake Lively! Please! Please! Please! Oh, wait, that is a Sabrina Carpenter song. How lucky is the blonde girl from Girl Meets World to sing a duet with TayTay? And yes, I know she was the singer’s opening act on The Eras Tour.
Who do you think Cancelled is about? Donald Trump or Kanye West? And do you think Swift was named after Elizabeth Taylor?
I know she talked more about Showgirl on her boyfriend’s podcast, New Heights, but I didn’t listen to it. That is what my niece is for, and she couldn’t listen to it tonight because her mean teachers gave her homework on the first day of school.
On that note, my older niece is a Swiftie, the younger one is not as much. However, Taylor is releasing the album on the younger one’s birthday, and I rubbed that in the older one’s face. Now, in true Taylor fashion, she is writing a bitchy song about me. And that is why the younger one is my and Taylor’s favorite!
Before people were playing with the late Brittany Murphy doll from Clueless, she was playing with the Barbie dolls from Beverly Hills, 90210. How cute was the 13-year-old in that 1991 commercial?
In May, we learned that Daniel Kyri would not be returning to Chicago Fire this season. However, he was asked to play Darren Ritter for a few more episodes.
Yesterday, he put on his firefighter costume one last time. Today, he said goodbye to the person whom he has played for seven years. A part that was only supposed to last for three episodes, which turned into eight seasons.
He wrote: “Chicago Fire changed my life. Bringing Darren Ritter to the screen has transformed & healed me in equal measure. He is a man who embodies empathy, humility, compassion, and unwavering bravery to save lives. His heroism is further fortified by the way he navigates the world—a gay Black firefighter who is proud, fierce, loyal, & whole—a possibility I never got to see onscreen in my childhood but desperately craved…
“I am so humbled & proud to have portrayed you. I’m thrilled that my inner child would have looked at you each week in awe of everything you represent. You made history. Thank you so much, Darren Ritter. And goodbye.”
Station House 51 is not going to be the same without him. He was an underused character who should have been used more.
So even though we will be seeing the last of Ritter, I doubt this is the last we are going to see of Kyri.
