There is no new South Park tonight
August 13th, 2025 under South Park. [ Comments: none ]

South Park debuted its new season four weeks ago, but it has only aired two episodes. That is because they aired the premiere episode, and it blew up because they trashed Donald Trump. And it was their most talked-about episode in years. So the pressure was on them to keep their momentum up.

Therefore, they took off a week before they aired a new episode. And what an episode it was. Last week, they took on Kristi Noem and destroyed her. However, the worst came in the exclusive to Paramount+ credits scene where she goes into a pet shop and shoots all the dogs.

So what can Matt Stone and Trey Parker do next? Well, we won’t find out until the 20th because they need another week to give us an episode so brutal that even the Devil says that is something he wouldn’t do. And we know the boys have given him awful stuff/people to do.

So get ready for a new episode next week. And for our sakes, let’s hope this administration doesn’t give them too much material to write about.

Patrick Renna is all of us on a diet
August 13th, 2025 under Patrick Renna. [ Comments: none ]

Let’s be honest, we have all tried a diet. We go in all gung-ho and then don’t even make it to day two. Right?

Patrick Renna decided he was going to cut out cookies and shared his progress on social media. How did he do? As good as Donald Trump does at not making a fool of himself and the United States of America.

As in, The Sandlot star got two days in before he failed, tried again and failed, and made like Howard Cosell, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. And he is still trying. Because no matter how many times he was at bat, he kept striking out.

Hopefully, he will get to day four one of these days. But does he really have to? After all, cookies and chocolate are part of the basic food group!

Charlie Sheen tells his truth
August 13th, 2025 under Charlie Sheen. [ Comments: none ]

For decades, Charlie Sheen has been the cause of many scandalous headlines, from drugs to his ties to prostitution to two failed marriages to rehab visits to multiple arrests to that Two and a Half Men breakdown. However, we have never heard him tell his story. That is going to change with aka Charlie Sheen.

Tabloid black hole Charlie Sheen knows what’s been said about him, and he’s finally ready to confess. Directed by Andrew Renzi (Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?), aka Charlie Sheen, tracks his upbringing in Malibu to his effortless rise to megastardom — and dramatic fall, all within the public eye. With a stunning clarity earned through seven years of sobriety, Sheen openly speaks about the subjects and events he’s never discussed publicly before. Through extraordinarily candid interviews with his family, friends, and cast members, including ex-wives Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, ex-Madam Heidi Fleiss, Jon Cryer, Sean Penn, Ramon Estevez, Chris Tucker, and his drug dealer Marco, the most outrageous moments of Sheen’s life are revisited with raw emotion and exceptional warmth, painting a portrait of a flawed man whose penchant for self-destruction is ultimately no match for the ferocious love and forgiveness he inspires in those closest to him.

You might have noticed that there are two big names in his life who are missing from the list of people they talked to for this doc. His father, Martin Sheen, and brother, Emilio Estevez, declined to appear in it. Renzi explained to Tudum that they wanted him to have his moment. Even though they are missing from the movie, they are still close to him and watched the finished product with him.

No offense to Billy Joel, Eminem, and Mariska Hargitay, this is the must-watch documentary of the year. Congrats to Netflix for snagging it.

aka Charlie Sheen debuts on September 10th.

Derek Hough is so Extra

Derek Hough is going to be a dad in a few months, and that is not his only new job. The dancer is dancing his way over to Extra TV as the new host, replacing Billy Bush.

Hough said, “The ballroom has been my stage, my home, and my launchpad. Now, I’m stepping into an exciting new spotlight as the host of ‘Extra.’ I’m truly looking forward to collaborating with this incredible team, diving into this next creative chapter, and connecting with fans and audiences in a whole new way. It’s an honor to join a show that’s been a cornerstone of entertainment news for over 30 years — and I’m ready to help lead it into a bold, fresh new era for Season 32 and beyond.”

Fun Fact: He is not the only Dancing with the Stars personality to be the face of the entertainment news show. Mario Lopez was the first one when he hosted it from 2008 to 2019.

Fun Fact 2: This was a role he was born to play!
