Donnie Wahlberg gets a new son on Boston Blue |

Donnie Wahlberg will be back on CBS this Fall with the Blue Bloods spinoff, Boston Blue. Little by little, CBS announced who will be joining him on the series. Today, they made a shocking casting announcement.
Andrew Terraciano, who played Danny Reagan’s son, Sean, for all but one episode, will be replaced by Mika Amonsen in the new show.
Sources told Deadline, “The recasting stems from the character taking a new creative direction on Boston Blue as he follows the Reagans’ career path into law enforcement. Meanwhile, the addition of Sean to the offshoot helps explain Danny’s move from his native New York to Boston.”
I don’t know about you, but I think that is so fucked up. When someone plays the role for 14 seasons, you don’t kick them to the curb for someone else.

Bazinga! The Big Bang Theory spinoff blasts off! |
| July 9th, 2025 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

In 2019, The Big Bang Theory ended its 12-year run, and fans have been wanting more ever since.
Today, HBO Max announced that they picked up the spinoff, Stuart Fails to Save the Earth to series.
Comic book store owner Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman) is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon. Stuart is aided in this quest by his girlfriend Denise (Lauren Lapkus), geologist friend Bert (Brian Posehn), and quantum physicist/all-around pain in the ass Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). Along the way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters we’ve come to know and love from “The Big Bang Theory.” As the title implies, things don’t go well.
Chuck Lorre, executive producer, said, “I wanted to do something radical that would take me out of my comfort zone. Something the characters on ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ would have loved, hated, and argued about.”
I can’t wait to see what happens when Chuck Lorre gets out of his comfort zone because we know how funny he is when he works within it.

Mattel created a Barbie with diabetes |

Mattel has been creating inclusive Barbies with different needs, such as being hearing-impaired or having Down syndrome, so that every girl can have a Barbie just like her.
The latest Barbie doll has type 1 diabetes and comes with a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump.
Mattel teamed up with Breakthrough T1D to make sure they got her just right. “We were thrilled when Barbie approached us to collaborate on the development of the Barbie doll with type 1 diabetes,” said Aaron J. Kowalski, Ph.D., CEO of Breakthrough T1D. “I have lived with T1D since I was 13, and my brother since he was 3, so this partnership is deeply personal – it means the world to be part of bringing greater visibility to a condition that affects so many families. It’s an honor to work with a brand that shares our commitment to showing children that a life with type 1 diabetes can be full, vibrant, and empowering.”
This Barbie is available for just $10.99 at Amazon and Walmart. I hope that she makes little girls happy and more accepting of her diabetes.
