With a Rebel Yell, I declare The Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame royally screwed up! |

The Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame announced their 2025 Inductees: Phish, Billy Idol, Mariah Carey, Oasis, Sheryl Crow, and Missy Elliott.
I am sorry they were nominated, but who did the idiots in Cleveland (what musician of worth came out of that city) choose to induct? They went with Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Cyndi Lauper, Joe Cocker, Outkast, Soundgarden, and White Stripes.
I am sorry, but WTF? The people who were not inducted did more for music than the people who are getting honored. Well, minus Cyndi Lauper, her cover of Girls Just Want to Have Fun is an anthem for women. But the rest? I love Joe Cocker’s voice, but he is dead, so he can’t celebrate.
Seriously, that is why the museum is in Cleveland and not a major city. I can say that because I am from The Bronx, the birthplace of Hip Hop! We know music.
Back to the dummies in Cleveland. They didn’t listen to their fans. The fan poll showed that they wanted Phish and Billy Idol, who came 1st and 3rd respectively, and not The White Stripes and Outkast, who came in 11th and 12th respectively.
At least we all agree that Maná did not deserve to be included in the nominations.
There is a reason why many artists hate the RNRHOF, and that includes musicians who are in it.
What do you think of this year’s nominees?

Hollywood Forever will honor David Lynch with a Blue Velvet screening |

On January 16th, we lost director David Lynch, and he was laid to rest shortly after that at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
You cannot have a cemetery in the heart of Hollywood by Paramount and Raleigh Studios, and not have events there, including movie screenings.
So, on May 31st, they will be showing his movie Blue Velvet there, not that far from where he is buried.
And there is no way in hell you could get me to go because you know his ghost will be there watching the movie with his fans.
I know they used to do this all the time on Rudolph Valentino’s birthday, but he passed on a long time ago. Lynch is still newly deceased.
I am not opposed to going to a screening of someone who is buried there, like watching Kolchak with Darren McGavin or Rock’n’Roll High School with Johnny Ramone. But I draw the line with Lynch!
If you are not afraid of him haunting you at the screening, you can get tickets for $29.99.

Fire Country is losing two OGs |
| April 27th, 2025 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

| Sergei Bachlakov/CBS
On Friday, Fire Country ended its season with three of its stars’ lives in danger. Now, we know two of the cast members are not coming back.
Billy Burke, who plays Battalion Chief Vince Leone, his wife, Sharon (Dianne Farr), and his dad, Walter (Jeff Fahey), were all in Walter’s assisted living building, which was engulfed in flames. Bode (Max Thieriot), who had just escaped, watched as the roof collapsed down on his family, leaving us to wonder who, if any of them, will be back in the Fall.
Deadline is reporting that Burke has fought his last fire, but the people at CBS will not confirm his departure.
However, they did confirm that Stephanie Arcila, who plays Gabriella, an EMT and firefighter,
will not be returning as a series regular. Executive Producer Tony Phelan explained, “It was really a decision that came out of the dynamic between Bode and Gabriela; we felt like those two characters needed a reset. We love Stephanie, and we are committed to saying that the Bode-Gabriela story does not end here, it goes on.
“We’re hoping that we can bring that character back, because we think that they have such great chemistry, and the audience is really invested in the two of them. But we felt, with everything that’s happening in the finale and moving on into the next season, that it was time for that character to discover what’s next for her.”
These departures make me nervous for season 4. Burke was a big part of what kept this grounded. I hope they didn’t make a mistake.

Asher Grodman has problems with the ladies on and off the Ghosts’ set |
| April 25th, 2025 under Ghosts. [ Comments: none ]

Ghosts’ Trevor Lefkowitz might have thought he had his way with the ladies when he was alive, but now that he is dead, he is not as lucky.
Case in point. Sass has become the man that all the dead ladies want when they come to Woodstone Manor. And whatever women he is not getting, Pete’s legs are the bee’s knees.
Well, technically, Trevor could have Stephanie, but she was too young when she was alive and is too old for him in dead years.
So he is basically screwed about getting screwed.
Not only is it bad for him on the show. It is also bad for Asher Grodman when they are preparing to film. Another case in point, at the end of yesterday’s episode, Trevor, Stephanie, and Flower were getting high in the back of Gabe’s car.
However, when they were getting ready to film, Odessa A’zion (Stephanie) and Sheila Carrasco (Flower) would rather hook up in the backseat together than with him.
He just can’t catch a break! That is sad because it is so easy to get into Trevor’s pants…because he doesn’t have any!

Has Ryan Seacrest hit hard times? |
| April 25th, 2025 under Hard times, Ryan Seacrest, Wheel of Fortune. [ Comments: none ]

Ryan Seacrest is hosting his radio show, Wheel of Fortune, and American Idol. But I guess that is not enough because he was seen selling balloons at Disneyland.
So you have to wonder if he hit hard times? Nope! He was just filming a bit for the game show.
However, now he knows he can sell balloons if need be! Hopefully, he is not one cancelled hosting gig before that happens.
