We think we know all about Nick and the late Aaron Carter. But we don’t. Do you know who does? Aaron’s twin sister, Angel, and she teamed up with Soleil Moon Frye and Paramount+ to tell The Carters truths.
“This documentary is a labor of love for my family,” said Angel. “By sharing our true story – one shaped by loss, resilience, and healing – I hope to honor our journey and transform our past into a message of hope and purpose for others facing similar challenges.”
The Carters follows bona fide American teen heartthrobs Nick and Aaron, who seemed to have it all, but behind their remarkable gifts was a family dealing with mental health struggles, drug addiction, and heartbreaking neglect. Their story is told by Aaron’s twin sister, Angel, who unpacks the complicated family dynamics that led to the untimely deaths of three of the original five Carter kids, as well as their father. Fame and fortune were accompanied by rivalries, jealousies, and exploitation from those they relied on most, their parents.
The two-part documentary will include interviews with people who have not talked about the brothers before, and they will give us a better insight into who they are/were. Along with that, we will see never-before-seen home movies that detail the brothers’ rise to fame and the devastating toll it took on their family.
After the ID documentary Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter, it will be interesting to hear from someone who knows the family better than anyone else, someone who is in the family.
Oreo asked Post Malone to create a cookie with them, and he said yes. Because who wouldn’t.
The Post MalOreo (my name for it) is the first swirled-flavored Oreo. The swirl is made of salted caramel and shortbread flavor creme between a chocolate and golden cookie.
“Can’t believe they let me make my own OREO cookie. So happy everyone gets to try the taste twist — hope you love it as much as I do, ’cause I think it’s the best OREO ever!” said Post Malone. “It’s the first time OREO has ever twisted the creme of the cookie and they named it after me.”
Along with all of that, there will be nine different embossed designs on the cookies that are unique to the singer. To see the nine cookie designs, then click here!
No matter what John Legend does, I will always love him because he wrote All of Me for his wife, Chrissy Teigen. And what woman would not dream of her husband doing the same?
Lin-Manuel Miranda also wrote a song for his wife, Vanessa, and we heard it in Hamilton.
Today, when the musical magician was on The Drew Barrymore Show to promote All In: A Comedy About Love, she wanted to know if he would ever write a romantic musical for his wife.
“Oh, they’re all for my wife, though. They all have been. I mean, the character in In The Heights is named Vanessa, for gd’s sake,” he told her. “But you know it’s fun. It’s really funny, actually, because there’s a song in Hamilton called That Would Be Enough. And there is no historical precedent for that song. It’s just Eliza saying, like I just needed to be here, like that’s all I need. And I wrote it in a hail of snot and tears. Like it was one of those songs I didn’t find it in a historical book. I just was like feeling it for my wife. And I wrote the song. And I played it for her; my wife is a lawyer, and she’s very even-keeled. So I play it just like and ‘That would be enough.’ And I serenade her, and she goes, ‘Good.’ Yeah. It’s kind of like you heartless monster. But that’s my little love song to her in the middle of that show.”
How sweet is that? And when you listen to the lyrics, you can hear that they are about him spending so much time writing his musicals. As long as he comes home to her, she is OK with him doing that. At least, he wrote that way for her.
Yesterday, on Wheel of Fortune, Ryan Seacrest had something happen to him that he will soon not forget.
Daniel made it to the final round and solved the puzzle milliseconds before the time was up. The contestant got so excited he gave the host a huge jumping hug. So huge that the host fell on his butt.
When Daniel realized what happened, he helped Seacrest up. Then, the fallen star would jokingly run away whenever Daniel came towards him.
Was Seacrest upset? Not at all. He told Daniel, “Don’t worry, I loved it.”
Justin Timberlake had a concert in Anaheim the other night, and some of his old friends came out to see him.
Who are they? Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, and JC Chasez drove down to see him.
But there was someone missing. Where was Joey Fatone? Is he out of the band? Nope, he was in New York City making his Broadway debut in & Juliet. Hopefully, the guys will go see Joey on stage just like they did Justin.
Maybe when Fatone is done on the Great White Way, and Timberlake is finished touring, they can reunite as a band and get it over with.
