Before Joy Behar was flying first class, thanks to The View, she was flying on the wing on It’s Garry Shandling Show. How funny was the 46-year-old in that 1989 episode?
Joy Behar cheated on The View and appeared on Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show. And boy, I am glad that she did.
The two ladies were talking about their old boss, Barbara Walters, and Sherri shared a story that will make you want to high-five the late news legend.
Many years ago when Sherri was working on The View, she heard from Paul Mooney that he walked in on Walters having sex with Richard Pryor. Sherri was so shocked by the story that she told Behar about it. And Sherri told Behar not to tell anyone.
Well, Behar didn’t listen. The next day, Behar asked Walters if she had sex with Pryor. And the Walters said, “Who told you that?”
And that sounds like confirmation to me.
That was not the only time Walters was Bustin’ Loose with a Brother. Because Behar revealed that Walter liked her men like she liked chocolate, dark.
And that just makes me like her even more! Go, Barbara!
Quantum Leap came back last week, and we learned that Ben (Raymond Lee) did not leap home. In fact, for the last three years, he has been missing and presumed dead. So they held a funeral for him, and the project was shut down.
However, Ian (Mason Alexander Park) did not give up on him and finally found him. Just as the two were reunited, Ben leaped again.
Tonight at 8p on NBC, we get to see the Quantum Leap team reunited and ready to restart the program to help Ben. That is if they can find out when he is.
Ben is a grandmother working in a bank that is about to be robbed by his co-worker’s brother. In the original history, several people died, and now he has to do what he can to make sure no one dies. Can he do it?
You will just have to tune in for a sequel that gets it right.
And can I tell you, I am enjoying that they are focusing on the leaps more this season than present day? Don’t get me wrong, they deal with that too. But more of the episode is dedicated to the past, like the original series. That is what I prefer, and it is all about me.
Then, at 9p on Syfy and USA Network, Chucky is making a killing in the White House. And I mean that literally.
Last week, Chucky, who now goes by Joseph, killed the Secret Service man who was protecting his friend to the end, Henry (Callum Vinson).
This week, the White House is dealing with the ramifications of that murder that was made to look like a suicide.
Just when the President (Devon Sawa) and the First Lady (Lara Jean Chorostecki) are coming to terms with a horrific death in the White House, someone else will die. And what a death it is.
Meanwhile, Jake (Zackary Arthur), Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) find out that Chucky is in the White House, and now they are going to try to get in touch with the President’s older son, Grant (Jackson Kelly) so that they can get close to Joseph. Will they be able to infiltrate the White House like their old nemesis?
I can’t tell you. You just have to watch the funnest season of Chucky so far.
Finally, at 10p on Syfy, has Luke (Tim Rozon) met his match on SurrealEstate?
Luke and his team have been trying to sell a house for two months, but they haven’t been able to do it because of the ghost who lived there first.
So the current owner calls in the television show Spirit Stalkers, Paranormal P.I., to get rid of her. Now, Luke and Kit Rampart (Brian Marler) are going to compete to get rid of her. But not before they have a scar-off to compare who has the best ghost story.
Who will get the ghost to move out first, Luke or Spirit Stalkers? You have to watch the scary episode to find out.
If you have never seen this series, tonight’s episode is a great one to get you as hooked as I am.
Remember last year when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars and said, “Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth?” Well, guess what? Jada Pinkett Smith revealed today to Hoda Kotb on Today that they were separated at the time. In fact, they have been separated for years, 2016 to be exact.
Pinkett Smith said they have been faking it because they have not been ready to tell the world that they are living apart. And even though they basically ended their marriage after almost 20 years, she does not plan on divorcing him.
So they will continue to live in limbo. But now we know that their marriage is over and has been for a long time.
Therefore, when they played the victims at and after the Oscars, they were lying to us. I don’t care that they split. But I have a massive problem with them lying to us after the incident. They pretended that their marriage was perfect, and she played the victim.
And since she has not done enough harm to Chris Rock, she tells People he asked her out when he thought that she and Will were separated. And they were.
So, Jada, all I have to say to you is, “Shut the fuck up!” You should’ve come forward after the slap rather than pretending you had this perfect marriage.
You will do anything for ratings and sell a book. I won’t be reading it. And I hope that others choose to do the same.
You had the right for marriage troubles to be private. But you went public with a happy marriage. You deceived everyone. You hurt the Oscars. You hurt the Chris Rock.
So I have no sympathy for you.
If my religious friends and family can get a divorce, then you can figure out how to get one, too. I mean, it has been seven years. Figure it the fuck out and let everyone in your family be happy, and move on.
Oh, don’t be surprised by the backlash. You did it to yourself.
