For six months, ABC kept The Rookie: Feds and The Good Lawyer in limbo. But today, both shows learned their fate. And they will not be moving forward, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Rookie: Feds was the FBI spinoff of The Rookie and starred Niecy Nash. It was a really good show that just didn’t get the respect it needed from ABC. And that is why it was cancelled too soon.
Then there is The Good Lawyer, which was a spinoff of The Good Doctor. I just couldn’t get into the backdoor pilot because I am still not ready to forgive Felicity Huffman. That and do we need another show like The Good Doctor?
Kelly Ripa is an open book, too open. And on her latest podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera, she said something to her guest, Sharon Stone, that even shocked me. That is not something that is easy to do.
Ripa was talking about how her two sons, who don’t agree on anything, agree on Stone’s hotness. And then the host told the Basic Instinct star, “Sharon, I could set you up with my son [Michael Consuelos] right now. He’s 26. I would love for you to be my daughter-in-law. That would be the greatest honor of our family.” Then she added, “‘Have you met my daughter-in-law Sharon Stone?’ Would it be weird if we introduced you as our daughter-in-law, Sharon Stone?” In one word, “YES!”
So, would the 65-year-old actress date Ripa’s son? Even though she has dated younger, her cut-off age is 45. Thank Gd because 40 years is way too much of an age difference.
Howie Mandel had Mel B on his podcast Howie Mandel Does Stuff, and he thought he would ask her what she wants, what she really, really wants. And all he wanted was an answer that he didn’t get.
Scary Spice thought he wanted to know the meaning of zig-a-zig-ah. And he didn’t even know what she was talking about. So when he asked her what that meant, she refused to tell him.
The host thought it was about sex, so he made the hand motion for sex, and she thought he was trying to demonstrate fingering. And it just did not get any better after that. Therefore, co-host Jackelyn Shultz declared, “This might be the weirdest interview we’ve done yet.”
And I loved it! So much so that I want, I really, really want NBC to give Mel B and Mandel to host an America’s Got Talent podcast. They don’t have to talk about the show. They just have to ask each other questions, which will get lost in translation, even though they speak the same language!
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick have been married for 35 years, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at them.
He is still there to dry her wet dishes. And even better, they still like to dirty dance in the kitchen. And that keeps the marriage hot. Especially when that dancing leads to them going to the bedroom. At least, that is where I assume they went.
Seriously, if I ever get married, I want to be like the Bacons and have a sizzling marriage.
