Are you sick of your family serving dry turkey on Thanksgiving? Well, this year, you can moisten it with blood instead of gravy, thanks to Eli Roth.
In 2007, Eli Roth created a mock trailer called Thanksgiving for the Grindhouse double feature. Now, 16 years, that film is becoming a reality, and the fourth Thursday of November will never be the same.
After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan. Will the town uncover the killer and survive the holidays…or become guests at his twisted holiday dinner table?
Thanksgiving stars Patrick Dempsey, Milo Manheim, Rick Hoffman, Addison Rae, and Gina Gershon, and will be released on November 17th.
When Quantum Leap ended its first season, we saw Ben (Raymond Lee) leap, and we were hoping he leaped home.
Tonight, the series is back at 8p on NBC, and we find out he didn’t go home. Instead, he lept in a plane that is about to crash in Russia in 1978. He and four other people are on a secret military mission to protect a piece of cargo at all costs, but he is all alone.
Because no one from Quantum Leap, including Addison (Caitlin Bassett), seems to be observing him. So he doesn’t know what he has to do to leap. And he needs the help.
They are alone in Russia, and no one from any time or place are coming to rescue them. So, they are going to have to do what they can to get the mysterious cargo to its destination. Is that what Ben needs to do so he can leap home? Or does he need to do something else?
You are going to have to watch this intense episode that proves even if you are down and out; you can still be a hero. At least, that is what these four men and one woman are going to try to do.
I have read that Quantum Leap is going to focus more on the leaps this season, and they definitely did that. Along with concentrating on the past, we are getting glimpses of present day. So, we are still in the loop about what is going on at home and what is going on with Ben, whose memories keep coming back. But are they enough for him to remember how to get home? We will have to tune in every week to find out.
NBC has been hush-hush about when Kelly Clarkson was going to debut her daytime talk show in its new home of New York City. Well, today, they broke their silence. The singer’s talk show will be back on October 16th.
She is not the only one hitting the airwaves on that day; so is Drew Barrymore. Unlike Clarkson, Barrymore attempted but failed to bring her show back while the WGA strike was still going on. So, I am sure her show will start with a teary-eyed apology.
The only daytime talk show we are waiting to hear from is The Talk. And I am assuming, since it is a CBS show like Barrymore’s, that it will also be back on the 16th.
Hopefully, by then, the SAG strike will be over, and actors can talk about their work again! Actually, I just want the actors to get a fair contract and be able to go back to work.
When I saw that Jason Mraz decided to do Dancing with the Stars, I was a little perplexed. I know he sings about dancing and roller skates, but he doesn’t seem like the type to do a television dancing competition show.
So, why did the singer do it? He posted a video walking to the set and said, “I am wearing my avocado shirt to remind me why I am doing this, Dancing with the Stars, to help pay for my water bill.”
Did you know that Chipotle buys his avocados to make their guacamole? Even though they pay, and his music pays, it is enough to pay for water. And here I thought water was free.
When it comes to his bill, it looks like he will be able to pay it for the next couple of months. That is because he has been placing near the top or on the top of the leaderboard each week. I don’t want to jinx it, but I think he will be around for the finals. Unlike Jamie Lynn Spears, who was eliminated tonight.
