John Legend and Chrissy Teigen started off the new year by welcoming their second daughter, Esti, in January.
Today, the couple announced that they welcomed their second son, Wren Alexander Stephens, via surrogate on June 18th.
Teigen shared their journey about how they became a family of six five months after becoming a party of five.
The new mom always knew she wanted to have four kids. But after she miscarried her son, Jack, she didn’t think that would be possible. So the couple decided to try surrogacy.
The model asked the agency if it was possible to have two women carry her children at the same time so that her youngest children could be like twins.
However, after a therapy session, she told her husband that she wanted to try to carry another baby. Therefore, they started IVF treatment again, and she got pregnant.
Around that time, she met the perfect surrogate with whom she wanted to carry her child.
The first attempt failed, sadly. But they tried again, and this one gave them their fourth child.
Teigen thanked the “beautiful woman” and “friend” who made her dream of being a mother of four a reality.
The Legends are also the parents to Luna, 7, and Miles, 4.
