Back in 2018, The Brady Bunch house went up for sale. Not only did HGTV buy it, but they also renovated it to make the inside look like it did on the beloved sitcom.
We got to witness their hard work in the HGTV show A Very Brady Renovation. And as someone who went inside that house after they were finished, it was a work of art! I cried. My friend cried. We were in our childhood dream house.
Now, nearly five years later, Discovery is selling it for $5.5 million, $2 million more than what they paid for it. So I have one question for y’all, do you have $5.5 million you could give me? I would let you stay at the house! I mean, it would be the least I could do for giving me the money!
I don’t have the cash. But if you do, then reach out to Danny Brown at Compass! He is the lucky realtor who gets to see the iconic house. Could you imagine getting that phone call?
I really hope a fan, like Lance Bass, buys it. And not someone who is going to tear it down, which is what they do in LA today.
If the latter is the case, I will chain myself to the house to make sure it doesn’t get demolished.
I have mentioned this before, but I am going to do it again. I went to the same Junior High School as Neil deGrasse Tyson. We might even have had the same science teachers. But only one of us barely passed that subject. And that was me.
So while we both went into the study of stars, his knowledge is much more important and interesting. That is why Jeopardy asked him to give the answers on the show with a category that is dedicated to the things he knows better than most people on Earth, The Universe.
It was not an easy category for the Jeopardy Masters and an impossible one for me. So while he went to PS 81 and had to travel to Manhattan to go to the Hayden Planetarium. My elementary school, PS 24, on the other end of Riverdale, had its own! Therefore, na-na-na! And yet he is the one that went into science and makes millions, and I only graduated because no teacher wanted to have me again!
Oh, and can we talk about the way he says Uranus? He says your-en-es, it is your-anus. Am I right?
The Family Stallone, a behind-the-scenes look into Sylvester Stallone, his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone, and daughters Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet, debuted a week ago on Paramount+, and they already picked it up for a second season.
The news is no surprise because, in just one week, it became the streaming service’s #1 reality show premiere. And I am sure it will continue to grow.
I mean, Stallone has been a knockout since Rocky. Oh, wait, he wasn’t knocked out in that film. But you know what I was going for.
In case you missed last week’s premiere, you can watch it now, along with the second episode.
