You can’t spell Ghosts without The O!

Tonight at 8:30p on CBS, one of the Ghosts experiences sexual arousal and The Big O for the first time. Can you guess who and how?

But that is not the main plot point. We are getting a big part of Alberta’s (Danielle Pinnock) backstory.

Sam (Rose McIver) and the Ghosts listen to a podcast about a murder, and that inspires them to do one about Alberta. Sam pitches it to the local paper, which has podcasts, and he tells her she has to include Creepy Todd. Of course, she doesn’t want to include him, but her boss tells her, “No, Todd. No pod.” So, she calls Alberta’s #1 fan!

Todd rushes up to Woodstone Manor, and he brings an end table that belonged to the Jazz singer from the Roarin’ ’20s. As soon as Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) sees it, he notices a false bottom that includes Alberta’s diary. There is something in it that she doesn’t want to world to know. What is it? All I can tell you is that it is shocking.

And that is not the most shocking thing about this episode. We learn that there was a person there the night that Alberta died who we didn’t know about. Is that person the one who poisoned her?

We will just have to keep tuning into the series to find out. Well, that and Ghosts is not suffering from the sophomore slump. It continues to get better and funnier with each episode. So much goodness happens tonight; I cannot even begin to include it all, so that is why you are going to have to watch it for yourselves.

Ghosts also stars Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Pete (Richie Moriarty), Trevor (Asher Grodman), Flower (Sheila Carrasco), Thor (Devan Chandler Long), Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), and Sass (Román Zaragoza)

I guess Mario isn’t going to sound Italian in The Super Mario Bros. Movie
October 6th, 2022 under Chris Pratt. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since Universal announced that they cast Chris Pratt in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, everyone is like how can he play the part, he is not Italian. Today we found out how they were able to get away with it. The videogame character will sound like he is a third generation American and not like he is fresh off the boat from Italy.

I know that makes sense because not all Italians sound like they should be in The Godfather. But, it is just that we assumed that is how Mario and Luigi sounded. On that note, where is Luigi?

One more thought. Damn you, Stormy Daniels, who else thought of Donald Trump’s penis when they saw Toad? Just me?

Butterfinger creates a mascot scarier than the Burger King
October 6th, 2022 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Let’s be honest. We have all had a nightmare about the Burger King at least once. Well, he is no longer going to be the subject of our scary dreams, thanks to Butterfinger. That is because the chocolate bar created a new mascot called Robin Fingers, who is even more frightening.

Robin Fingers is a mix of Jigsaw and Squid Game Guard all rolled into one, and he goes around robbing us of our Butterfinger bars. The bandit won’t stop until he gets them all.

So this Halloween, just say no to anyone who wants to give you a Butterfinger while you are trick or treating. And if you don’t catch it in time, then make sure to hurl them out of the bag as soon as you see one.

My nieces will hate me because it is their favorite candy, but I am doing it for their own protection. That, and because they never share them with me.

Anyways, now that I think about it. This advertising campaign might have been a mistake. Because instead of making us want to buy a Butterfinger, it makes us want to throw them all away. Whoops. I am going to post the ones that I have on my Buy Nothing group and give them to that person I don’t like.

Justin Bieber postpones the rest of his tour

Justin Bieber was supposed to go back on the road later this month until the end of March, but today it was revealed that he is postponing all of those dates, according to TMZ.

This is not the first time he has postponed or cancelled dates on the tour. In June, he did it when he came down with Shingles-related Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which paralyzed half of his face. Then last month, almost as soon he resumed touring, he announced he was taking a break due to his physical and mental health.

I know his fans are disappointed, but he needs to put his health first. Hopefully, he will take care of himself and come back stronger than ever.

Matthew McConaughey explains how Jim Morrison inspired his catchphrase
October 6th, 2022 under Matthew McConaughey. [ Comments: none ]

If someone asked you what Matthew McConaughey’s catchphrase is, you would tell them, “Alright. Alright. Alright.” But do you know how he came up with it?

The Oscar winner told GMA the story of how he wound up improvising the first three words he ever uttered on camera. And he has The Doors’ Jim Morrison to thank for it.

The actor is a big fan of the band, and he watched one of their old concerts. He heard Morrison tell the crowd, “Alright. Alright. Alright. Alright.” and that stuck with McConaughey.

So when he was driving to film his first scene in Dazed & Confused, he was imagining who his character was. He knew that Wooderson was about Rock’n’Roll, his car, and getting high. He was also about the three ladies in his life, so he said alright to all three of them.

And there you have it.

So the next time you hear someone do a McConaughey, you can tell them the origin story. And then your friends will think you are so smart.
