Matthew McConaughey clarifies if he will run for Governor of Texas
March 12th, 2021 under Matthew McConaughey. [ Comments: none ]

For weeks, there have been rumors that Matthew McConaughey wants to run for Governor of his home state of Texas. This morning, when he was on Today, and Al Roker asked him that very question.

“Look, it’s a very honorable consideration,” McConaughey told him. “So am I considering that? Sure, it’s a great thing and an honorable thing to be able to consider.

“What I’ve gotta choose for myself is, I want to get into a leadership role in the next chapter of my life. Now, what role am I gonna be most useful in? I don’t know that that’s in a political position, or if that’s me as a free agent. It might be me as a free agent. So that’s something I’m personally working on is what is my position of most use in a leadership role.”

I think he would be more than an alright, alright, alright Governor. I would vote for him if I lived there. Since I don’t. I will convince my Texan cousins to vote for him.

Plus, I am sure he will get a lot more votes after they watch his virtual fundraiser on March 21st at 8p EST. We’re Texas is raising money for the people who are suffering from the recent Texas storm. That is what he is doing to help his neighbors, what is the current governor doing? Nothing, but passing the blame.

Alright, alright, alright, Matthew McConaughey wants you to impersonate him
December 14th, 2020 under Matthew McConaughey. [ Comments: none ]

Matthew McConaughey is one of the most impersonated actors of our time, and now he wants to hear your impression of him.

Someone read an excerpt from his autobiography, Greenlights, and it made him laugh “pretty damn hard.” The actor liked it so much that now he wants you to do it too.

“I think sense of humor should be our default emotion,” McConaughey said. “So I am inviting more sense of humor into mine and your life.”

All you have to do is buy his book, read your favorite part, and send it to him at @officiallymcconaughey on Instagram with the tag #greenlightsbook. He will watch them all, and post his favorites on his Instastories.

He says he “can handle it.” Do your best impersonation of the Oscar winner, and let’s see if he really can handle it. I bet you a lot of people will narrate something from the bongo incident.

Matthew McConaughey’s laugh is what we all need!
September 17th, 2020 under Matthew McConaughey. [ Comments: none ]

We have all heard Matthew McConaughey say, “alright, alright, alright,” but not everything is alright, alright, alright these days. However, if you listen to him laugh in this short video he did for his Longbranch Bourbon, you will forget that and all is alright, alright, alright.

We have seen him strip, and so much more, but I don’t think we have heard him chuckle like that. I hope it is not the last time he does it on camera. No matter how many times I replay this, I still giggle with him.

Does it make you smile too?

Before Kate Hudson was trying to lose Matthew McConaughey in How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days, Trisha Yearwood knew how to get rid of him in Walkaway Joe. The 22-year-old actor looked alright, alright, alright in that 1992 music video.
