Fred Savage has spent the last 25 years with The Wonder Years, but his time with the franchise has come to an end. According to Deadline, he was fired after they investigated multiple misconduct complaints.
A spokesman for 20th Television said, “Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched. Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of The Wonder Years,”
Personally, I am surprised. But then again, this is the third time the actor has been accused of misconduct. He was sued for sexually harassing a makeup artist on the set. He was also sued by a crew member of the Grinder for attacking and harassing her. Savage denied both claims.
When it comes to The Wonder Years, it has yet to be picked up for a second season.
ABC is going to have at least two slots in the Fall because they cancelled both Queens and Promised Land. Neither cancellation is a surprise because both shows did poorly in the ratings. That and Promised Land was banished to Hulu after a few weeks.
Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell are going to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary in July. Like most married couples, they fight every now and again. However, the actress cannot stay mad at her husband.
What is his secret? Yesterday when Romijn joined her husband on his show, The Talk, she revealed what it is. “You are always able to diffuse me in a way that makes me laugh so hard. You are always able to diffuse me in the funniest way possible,” she said to him. “It is impossible to continue being mad at you because we are laughing.”
Then O’Connell told his wife that he learned that secret from her late mom, who told him laughing calms her daughter down.
And now we know why their marriage has lasted this long. Romijn loves to laugh, and O’Connell loves to make people laugh.
Another thing I learned from this interview is how much they love each other. You can see it in their eyes as they look at each. I want to look at a man the way Romijn looks at her husband, and I want a man to even look at me. If I can get that, I would be happy! But not as happy as the O’Connells!
Selena Gomez has spent the last two years working with some of Saturday Night Live’s biggest alumni. So on May 14th, she is finally going to understand what her co-stars Steve Martin Short went through when they hosted SNL. That is because she will be doing the honors to promote their Hulu Series Only Murders in the building that is back on June 28th.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Steve Martin Short are going to be giving her advice for the next week. In a way, I kind of feel bad for her because as much as I would love a comedy lesson from the two giants, it is probably also overwhelming. I mean, that is Martin Short on a daily basis, and that is why we love him.
I also think that we will see Steve Martin Short make an appearance during her episode that has Post Malone as the musical guest.
For those of you who are lucky enough not to know this, Kim Kardashian is getting a divorce from Kanye West, and she is now dating Pete Davidson. Needless to say, Kanye is not happy about that. So much so that he has made music videos killing off the Saturday Night Live star.
Well, Davidson has not said publically responded to those attacks. However, that is now past tense because yesterday he made a few jokes about his rival at the Netflix Is a Joke festival.
One of Kanye’s first digs was that Davidson has AIDS. Well, Davidson believed him, so he went to his doctor to get tested. The good news is that he doesn’t have it. The bad news is that he looks like he does. And he really does.
But the jokes didn’t stop there. Davidson also is secretly hoping that Kanye does a Mrs. Doubrtfire. Which is totally possible because with the amount have nannies Kim has raising her four kids, Ye could totally blend in, and no one would notice. Well, maybe his four kids. So, I hope he does it.
And with these jokes, Kanye should have learned not to mess with a comedian.
