Get possessed by Ghosts tonight on CBS!
December 9th, 2021 under Ghosts. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OfctrXpm90

Tonight at 9p on CBS, one of the Ghosts possesses Jay on what is a very important day for him.

Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) are going to meet with a wedding planner to possibly hold a wedding at the mansion. What could go wrong? When the electrician cancels on them again, Jay decides to do the work himself. He doesn’t know what he is doing, so he gets electrocuted. Then he winds up falling back on Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), causing her to get stuck inside of him.

Well, if you are a ghost who hasn’t been in a living body in like 150 years, what would you do? Exactly what Hetty does and takes over completely.

However, that is bad because the wedding planner is there, and he wants to be served a meal from Jay. But Hetty just wants to enjoy the ingredients that she has never tried.

Meanwhile, the other Ghosts are trying to help Sam come up with a way to free Jay of Hetty. Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) says the same thing happened to him, and they did an exorcism to free him. So Sam makes some phone calls, and no one is available to help her.

Pete (Richie Moriarty), Trevor (Asher Grodman), Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), and Sasappis (Roman Zaragoza) are jealous of Hetty. But they are still trying to help Sam and Jay stop the wedding planner from leaving. That is when the Ghosts tell Flower (Sheila Carrasco) to do what she does to stop him.

It works, but Hetty is still in Jay, and she is not letting go. Will Jay finally have control of his body before the couple’s bed and breakfast is blacklisted before it is even opened for business?

You are not going to want to miss this show’s best episode to date, and they have all been phenomenal. And phenomenal is what Ambudkar is tonight as he takes on Wisocky’s character’s personality. There were times I forgot he was still him because it really was like he possessed his co-star’s personality.

Writer Rishi Chitkara understood the assignment and gave us an episode we will be watching over and over again. It is so rare that a program delivers an episode as enjoyable as this one. But Ghosts keeps doing it every week, and tonight is the sweetest one of them all.

So tune in, fall in love with it, and then watch all the episodes while all of the shows are on hiatus for winter break.

Lauren Ash says blondes have more fun!
December 9th, 2021 under Lauren Ash. [ Comments: 2 ]

Lauren Ash has spent the first 38 years of her life with brown hair, but she recently went blonde. Now, the Superstore actress is telling all brunettes to go blonde.

She says her life has changed since she lightened her hair. Now, she gets things for free, people tell her she is beautiful, and a man fell off a segway when they saw her. But then again look at her, she is gorgeous. She was even stunning with darker hair.

The lighter locks have been so good to her that she is mad blondes haven’t told us brunettes this information earlier on in our lives. So Ash said to those of us with darker hair to buy some bleach and come over to the light side.

I want to do it, but I don’t look good as a blonde. However, I might consider it, if my fair-haired sisters tell me what Ash is saying is true,

Resident Alien crashes back down to Earth on January 26th
December 9th, 2021 under Alan Tudyk, Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Syfy announced today that Resident Alien will debut its second season on January 26th at 9p. Along with the season premiere, it is going to be joined by the new series Astrid and Lilly Save the World at 10p. Together the combo is creating a Wednesday night of must-watch TV.

Resident Alien is a huge hit, and people are loving the unlovable alien that is played by Alan Tudyk. I want to tell you more about the program, but it is something you have to experience blindly. All I will tell you is that you are going to love it and laugh a lot at things you shouldn’t. So, if you haven’t seen it, then watch the first season on Syfy.com, the app, and OnDemand.

Then at 10p, we get to meet Astrid and Lilly, two high school BFFs who aren’t very popular. After they go to a party and get humiliated, they do a spell that opens a portal that sets things in motion for the apocalypse. Now, they have to fight evil forces to save the World. Can they do it?

We spent the last few years dealing with an evil President who wanted to end the World and a pandemic that made it seem like a reality. So watching two shows that are about the end of the World seems fitting.

I need some sage after watching the intense Cobra Kai S4 trailer
December 9th, 2021 under Billy Zabka, Netflix, Ralph Macchio. [ Comments: none ]

Cobra Kai is back for its fourth season on New Year’s Eve, and we are going to be drinking long before the ball goes down at midnight. That is because this is going to be an intense season, and we will spend the day binging it.

This season we are going to see Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (Billy Zabka) end their rivalry to take down Cobra Kai. How long can the two enemies get along?

Then again, they have a common enemy in Kreese (Martin Kove), who is teaming up with Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith). Is that going to keep LaRence motivated to work together peacefully so that they can destroy their arch-nemesis in the All-Valley Karate Tournament?

If that is not enough, there are still their students who have to compete? There is going to be a lot of chops, but will there be peace? Highly unlikely, and that is why we can’t stop watching and loving this show.

Pictionary with host Jerry O’Connell picked up for a full season
December 9th, 2021 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn. [ Comments: none ]

Over the summer, Jerry O’Connell was hosting two shows. He could be seen guest-hosting CBS’s The Talk and hosting a trial run of Pictionary on the Fox O&O’s. Well, 2021 turned out to be a fruitful year for him. That is because he became a full time host on the talk show. And now Deadline is reporting that the game show was picked up for a full season starting the Fall.

When it rains, it pours. And it O’Connell is caught in a storm.

However, I do wonder if he is going to continue to do both shows? I hope so because the more we have him on our televisions, the better. Plus, he is a natural-born host for both game and talk shows. It is the best of both worlds for him. Well, that and some acting jobs.
