Will Smith is afraid of fire
June 21st, 2021 under Will Smith. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday Will Smith spent Father’s Day with his family at a restaurant. The dining establishment covered his table with those candles that shoot up sparklers. Well, the actor was so afraid of the fire that he did the I am terrified of sparklers dance in his chair. That dance makes him look like a T-Rex when he sees a little mouse.

I would say that his days of working with Michael Bay are over. However, Bay’s fires are all CGI, so the only people who are afraid of him are the stuntmen who work with flammable material. That is because the director put them out of work.

Even Jamie Foxx can’t get a show to a second season Netflix

Jamie Foxx thinks he is indestructible, but he is not. That is because Netflix decided to cancel his show Dad Stop Embarrassing Me after just one season.

I had high hopes for the sitcom because it also starred his In Living Color castmate David Alan Grier. However, the latter was not enough to save the forgettable show.

It is so forgettable that I binged it, and I honestly cannot remember anything about it. Except that Foxx was up to his old schtick, and it doesn’t work in 2021.

RIP Champ Biden
June 21st, 2021 under Animals, Politics. [ Comments: none ]

FLOTUS/Twitter

First Dog of the United States Champ Biden passed away at the age of 13 on Saturday according to his mother, First Lady Jill Biden.

Our hearts are heavy today as we let you all know that our beloved German Shepherd, Champ, passed away peacefully at home. He was our constant, cherished companion during the last is years and was adored by the entire Biden family. Even as Champ’s strength waned in his last months, when we came into a moon he would immediately pull himself up, his tail always wagging, and nuzzle us for an ear scratch or a belly rub. Wherever we were. he wanted to be, and everything was instantly better when he was next to us. He loved nothing more than curling up at our feet in front of a fire at the end of the day, joining us as a comforting presence in meetings, or sunning himself in the White House garden. In his younger days, he was happiest chasing golf balls on the front lawn of the Naval Observatory or racing to catch our grandchildren as they ran around our backyard in Delaware. In our most joyful moments and in our most grief-stricken days, he was there with us, sensitive to our every unspoken feeling and emotion. We love our sweet, good boy and will miss him always.

Champ was adopted when Joe Biden was the Vice President of the United States. Then he had four years of civilian life before he went from Second Dog to the top dog. While his tenor in the White House was short, his memory will live on through his brother Major.

Being a dad has aged Joe Jonas
June 20th, 2021 under Jonas Brothers. [ Comments: none ]

This is Joe Jonas’ first Father’s Day as a dad. However, looking at him, it looks like he spent many more as a dad. He looks like a father whose kids are in high school and college with a baseball cap on, sunglasses inside, a goatee, an American flag shirt, matching fanny pack, jorts, and, of course, a beer.

I guess being a Rock star doesn’t stop you from turning into your dad after 11 months of being one.
