ABC announced today that The Good Doctor will be back for a fifth season. I would be happier about the news if they promised us we didn’t have to hear about Shawn’s sex life. I just want them to go back to the first season when it was more like House and less like Grey’s Anatomy. The writers can’t write Soapu.
They say three is a charm, and it definitely is for Dick Wolf. Next season, he will have three Chicago shows, three FBI dramas, and today we found out there will be three Law & Orders.
Law & Order: For the Defense will join SVU and Organized Crime on NBC.
What is the latest procedural be about? Dick Wolf explained “This new show is exciting for me personally. We spent the last 30 years on shows that played offense. Now it will be great to play defense. And being able to do it with Carol [Mendelson (CSI)] is an honor and an opportunity for both of us to do television that hasn’t been done before.”
Since the show was ordered straight to series today, there are no cast announcements. I am sure every NY actor is going to audition for it because you are not an actor in NYC if you have not appeared on a Dick Wolf show. Even my dad appeared in at least two episodes.
We are used to seeing Barbara Corcoran sitting on it on Shark Tank. However, we are not used to seeing what it looks like when she is standing up and walking away from us. Of course, I am talking about her a$$ets. Who knew the petite mogul had a butt that would make the Kardashians envious? But she does. At least when the NYer is trying to fit in in LA. Although with a bum like that, there are not a lot of places she will fit.
You know, if she wasn’t one of the Sharks, I would say she should go on the show and pitch her InstaGlute. There is a market for it.
Dolly Parton gets prettier and younger-looking with every year that we are blessed to have her on this planet with us. Recently, she shared her secret to Oprah Winfrey on her Apple TV+ show The Oprah Conversation.
Miss Parton says she too busy to get old. Then the 75-year-old legend added, “I’ll bet you I won’t look much different when I am 95…I’ll look as young as my plastic surgeons will allow me.”
Of course, she was joking. She says that her timeless beauty comes from inside of her. It is all about the attitude, and you have to let your true self shine through.
Something she had to do for herself. Can you believe she claims that she is not a natural beauty. In fact, she described herself as a Backwoods Barbie. The Country singer says knew what she wanted to look like as soon as she saw her town’s trollop. She was inspired by her and the Frederick’s of Hollywood magazines. They were what she felt was inside of her, so she made her outside match. Then when she was 40, she started to go under the knife.
Whatever she has done and continues to do works for her. Who is going to say she not gorgeous on the inside and the outside? Even if she wasn’t the beauty we know, we would still love her because she has the biggest personality and an even bigger heart.
If that is what 75 looks like, then I am going to make an appointment with a plastic surgeon so that I can look that good now. I would base my look on my town’s trollop, but I grew up in NYC. Our ladies of the night did not look as classy as the ones in Little Pigeon River in Pittman Center, Tennessee.
