Before Charles Grodin’s dog, Beethoven, was his biggest nightmare, his next door neighbor on My Mother the Car was an even bigger headache. How funny was the 30-year-old in that 1965 episode?
Salma Hayek did an interview with Variety, and she told them that she had a rough battle with COVID-19 at the beginning of the pandemic.
“My doctor begged me to go to the hospital because it was so bad,” she said. “I said, ‘No, thank you. I’d rather die at home.’”
So the actress spent the next seven weeks in an isolated room recuperating from the virus. Things got so bad at one point; she needed oxygen to breathe.
The Oscar winner is better now, but she has not regained the strength she had before she caught it.
For those of you who say barely anyone dies from coronavirus, that is true. However, what is also true is that people of all ages and health conditions suffer the long-term effects. Therefore, get the vaccine. It is better than getting COVID-19.
Tonight at 8p on ABC, someone on The Goldbergs is going to get engaged. That is the ultimate ending to any ’80s RomCom. Therefore, to celebrate the season finale, the art department recreated four posters from the era with the cast.
We get to see them if they starred in Pretty In Pink, Can’t Buy Me Love, Splash, and Mystic Pizza. Which poster do you like best?
Since so many of us are getting the vaccine, Lifetime is giving us a Christmas present early. Today they announced that they have a Christmas movie coming out this year with several cast members from a show we grew up on, along with some other sitcom legends.
Blending Christmas stars Barry Williams (Greg), Christopher Knight (Peter), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), Susan Olsen (Cindy), and Robbie Rist (Cousin Oliver). Yes, for all of us who wondered what happened to Cousin Oliver, we will find out in a few months! That is enough reason to tune in.
If the Bradys are not enough for you, then Greg Evigan, one of My Two Dads, is on it, along with Beth Broderick, who is one of Sabrina the Teenage Witch’s aunts. They will be joined by Telma Hopkins, who was bosom buddies with the Bosom Buddies and Nell on Gimme A Break.
For Gen Xers, this is like getting a White Christmas on December 25th in Los Angeles or Miami.
What is the telemovie about? “The holiday season is in full swing when Emma (Haylie Duff) learns that the resort where she used to spend Christmases with her family is being redeveloped. Her boyfriend Liam (Aaron O’Connell), hatches a plan to bring her to the resort one last time to propose! He secretly invites both their families to join them and Emma is delighted when she arrives to find the whole family bunch there. Of course, no holiday gathering is complete without drama, and soon the families are bickering over every detail! The added stress from trying to blend the two families eventually takes a toll on Emma and Liam, who start questioning their own relationship. Now just days before Christmas, the two families realize that they’re going to have to work together in order to reunite Emma and Liam!”
So this what it means when we sing Joy to World during the Holiday Season because I am feeling it now!
HBO Max released the trailer for the Friends unscripted reunion, and I am sure it is going to make friends of the show very happy. They have been waiting 17 years to see them together again, and on May 27th, they will get their wish.
They are still going to be upset that it is unscripted, but I think they will still enjoy what they get. I mean, they get to see the Friends being friends.
And for everyone complaining about James Corden hosting the event. The reason why is the reunion is produced by the same man who produces The Late Late Show. Now, it makes sense why he is there. It doesn’t mean you have to like it, but it what it is.
