Can Zoey be as happy as Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist makes us?
January 26th, 2021 under Alex Newell, Skylar Astin, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8p on NBC on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Zoey (Jane Levy) is going to try to be happy after being egged on by Mo (Alex Newell) to try it. I mean, you can’t blame her for being sad. In the last two months, she lost her father, her mentor/boss moved away, and she broke up with her boyfriend. That is a lot to handle.

How long can she handle being happy before something brings her down? Not too long. As soon as she gets to work, she is given her toughest challenge yet as the new boss. While that is her challenge, Max (Skylar Astin) and Mo prepare to launch their business. How will their opening night go?

Talking about openings, David (Andrew Leeds) has a big case, and his family decides to watch him give his opening statement at court. While he is talking to the judge, he starts to sing a heart song that only his sister can hear. And I am so happy to hear him sing a solo. It is about time he got one.

And when it comes to getting one, is the recently widowed Maggie (Mary Steenburgen) about to get a new boyfriend? How will she handle someone flirting with her?

All of this leads to an ending that will have Zoey flirting with danger. But I have said too much. I will say I cannot wait to see where the show goes next after that. Then again, I am always looking forward to their next episode? How can you not love this darling show that brings me and so many others happiness. It is what we all need.

Lucky Charms’ new cereal will turn your milk green
January 26th, 2021 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Lucky Charms is getting into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit this year. They have released limited editions of the regular and chocolate cereals that will turn your milk from white to green.

As cool as that sounds, I want to know what else it turns green? Remember when Burger King had that Halloween Whopper that turned your crap green? Now you see where I was going with my thought? Why did I even picture that? Also, why I am running to the store to buy a box to find out?

Ryan Seacret says he’s been the ‘worst date for people’
January 26th, 2021 under Ryan Seacrest. [ Comments: none ]

Ryan Seacrest taped a little video for Live with Kelly and Ryan on TikTok, and he asked the viewers to tell them their worst date story.

Before he told his story, he said, “I’m sure I have been the worst date for people.” If you are one of those people, please tell us your story. Enquiring minds want to know.

When it comes to his worst date, it is really cheesy, as in cheesecake. He took his date to a restaurant, and she ordered cheesecake. Then when it came, she ate it with her fingers. That is gross. I don’t know how he didn’t walk out as soon as she grabbed a piece of cake.

What is the one thing that Vanna White and Pat Sajak fought over?
January 26th, 2021 under Drew Barrymore, Wheel of Fortune. [ Comments: none ]

Vanna White and Pat Sajak have been working together on Wheel of Fortune for 38 years. In all of that time, they have had one fight.

Today when the letter turner was on The Drew Berrymore Show, she told the host what it was over. White likes to put ketchup on her hot dogs. Sajak called her out on that being gross. I side with Sajak and Barrymore on this issue. Ketchup has no place on a hot dog. That place belongs to mustard and sauerkraut. As you can tell, I am a New Yorker, and that is how we eat our frankfurters.

Seriously, could you imagine only having only one fight with someone in 38 years. I already fought with my cat twice in 38 minutes. Make that three times.

Is this the most chilling version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah?
January 26th, 2021 under BYU TV. [ Comments: none ]

Leonard Cohen’s song Hallelujah is one of the most haunting songs ever performed, no matter who performs it. There really is not much more you have to do to it to get chills. At least, so I thought.

BYU’s acapella quintet Vocal Point recorded themselves singing the ballad in a tiled hallway. As you can hear, the acoustics worked perfectly for them. Listen to their harmonizing voices bounce off the walls to give it even more of an angelic sound.

I don’t know about you, but I have goosebumps all over. I am in awe of their talent.

I hope BYU TV considers giving them a show on their network. I would watch them perform over and over again.
