Whenever we go to the airport, we all look up at the televisions and see CNN Airport. However, today, Jeff Zucker announced that they will be taking their last flight on March 31st.
“The steep decline in airport traffic because of COVID-19, coupled with all the new ways that people are consuming content on their personal devices, has lessen. the need for the CNN Airport Network,” Zucker said. “Having to say goodbye to such a beloved brand is not easy. I want to thank our friends and colleagues who have contributed to its success and to celebrate the fact that for 30 years, the CNN Airport Network has kept millions of domestic travelers informed. It also became an iconic part of the traveling experience in this country.”
Too bad Zucker can’t go with them because he is the worst thing to ever happen to CNN.
Tonight at 8p on NBC, Zoey (Jane Levy) is finally going to do the bad, bad thing with the man she chose from her love triangle on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. However, it won’t be easy because she and Max (Skylar Astin) will not be able to get any privacy. Then when they do, she will hear his heart songs. How awkward will that make their lovemaking? That is if they can ever make love.
One of the people that interrupts them is her mom. Maggie (Mary Steenburgen) is still dealing with the loss of her husband, and she doesn’t know what to do with herself. Thankfully, she will find something that will not only help her, but it will also her daughter-in-law (Alice Lee), who is adjusting to being a new mom.
Maggie is not the only thing cock blocking them, so is Mo (Alex Newell). Mo and Max are going into business together, but things sour when Max asks Mo to sign a contract. Why did this upset Mo so much?
What is really upsetting Zoey is that her company’s new watches are on fire. As in, they are literally catching on fire. Now, Zoey, Leif (Michael Thomas Grant), Simon (John Clarence Stewart), and her team at SPRQ Point need to figure out what is causing the problem and how to fix it. Will they be able to find out what is wrong before it is too late?
All of that plus several song and dance numbers. What more do you need to watch last season’s best new show? Especially, since it airs before This Is Us. What a perfect duo for our Tuesday nights in lockdown.
Dustin Diamond is hospitalized in Florida for pain all over his body and unease. According to TMZ, doctors do not know what is wrong with him, but they suspect that he might have cancer. Therefore, they are running tests and plan on doing a biopsy to figure out what is ailing him.
Hopefully, he doesn’t have cancer, and the Saved By the Bell star will be on the mend soon.
We are less than two weeks into 2021, and it is going to be a year full of stars. That is because Netflix has a bunch of them starring in their movies. Today they announced who several of the big names are going to be in their weekly film series.
They include celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Dwayne Johnson, Idris Elba, Meryl Streep, Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Gal Gadot, Dave Bautista, Naomi Watts, Jake Gyllenhaal, John David Washington, and Octavia Spencer. Two big names are even going behind the camera for their directorial debuts, and they are Halle Berry and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
That is the good news. The bad news is that All the Boys and The Kissing Booth are coming to an end. Can’t we turn the latter movie into a series? I don’t want it to end.
Personally, I am loving this news. I donate platelets every two weeks, and we get to watch Netflix as we do it. This news means I will always have something good to watch.
Yesterday on Fox News, Bill Hemmer asked Hogan Gidley if Donald Trump feels emasculated because Twitter and other social media sites cut off his balls. The former White House Office of the Press Secretary replied by saying, he is “the most masculine person, I think, to ever hold the White House is the president of the United States.”
If he thinks that Trump is the manliest man to hold the job, I want to know what he thinks of past presidents like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, the Roosevelts, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama. They stood up for the country, fought for it and the people who call it home. What has soon to be impeached ever done that was tough?
Yelling and being a bully does not make you strong, it makes you weak. I grew up in NYC, I know what a manly man is, and Trump is not one of them. I have taken down men like that. It is so easy because they think if they scream, you will bow down to them. However, if you call them on their bluff, they fold. It is quite fun, TBH. That is why Trump is so afraid of strong women; we know his weakness and go for the jugular.
