Six months ago, Amanda Seales joined The Real alongside Loni Love, Tamera Mowry, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai. Yesterday, she announced that her contract was up, and she did not renew it.
She explained, “It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I cannot speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to, and where the people who are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled.
“I am not in space where I can, as a full Black woman, have my voice, and my co-workers have their voices, and where the people the top are not respecting the necessity for Black voices to be at the top too.
“You see me transform into a way I just can’t function in this place the same way.”
I stopped watching when she joined. She always had to be front and center, and she didn’t let the other women talk. It felt like she brought a negative energy to the daytime talk show.
Seales would be better off doing her own show instead of sharing the table with four other people. Not everyone can work in a group.
Two days ago, Samantha Marie Ware said that Lea Michele made her life a ‘living hell’ on Glee. Today, Heather Morris confirmed on social media that it was “unpleasant” to work with her on the set.
Let me be very clear, Hate is a disease in America that we are trying to cure, so I would never wish for hate to be spread to anyone else. With that said, was she unpleasant to work with? Very much so; for Lea to treat others with the disrespect that she did for as long as she did, I believe she SHOULD be called out. And yet, it’s also on us because to allow it to go on for so long without speaking out is something else we’re learning along with the rest of society. But, at the current moment its implied that she is a racist and although I cannot comment on her beliefs, I think we’re assuming, and you know what happens when we all assume…
I can’t wait for Naya Rivera to break her silence. After all, it was rumored that Rivera and Michele hated each other so much that they didn’t talk during the final season of the show.
Michele posted an apology before Morris’ post. I wonder if she will do another one.
Graduations all over the world have been canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic, including the one at San Dimas High School. Just like many schools, they found a viral way around it.
SDHS put their graduation on YouTube, and it includes a speech from their most famous alumni. Of course, I am talking about Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted Theodore Logan, who were part of the class of 1989. You might know them better as Wyld Stallyns.
Alex Winter started off with, “We know it’s a tough time right now and that you’re having to do this virtual graduation. We want to wish you the best of luck moving forward.”
Then Keanu Reeves said, “Yeah, congratulations to the graduating class of 2020. Well done!”
Winters acknowledged, “San Dimas High School football does rule.” And Reeves chanted back, “Rules!”
Winter added, “But most importantly, we wanted to tell you to be excellent to each other.”
While Reeves concluded with their mantra, “And party on!”
And party on they will do when Bill & Ted Face The Music comes out at some point.

I grew with my mother’s side of the family being orthodox. I went to a religious high school (by choice) until I got kicked out for being too secular. In college, I was a religious studies major, even though most of my teachers wish I wasn’t. As you can tell, religion is important to me, and I believe everyone should practice what they want and how they want. I just don’t think anyone should tell anyone else how to do it. Believe me, I still get that from some of my family members.
Another thing I hate is when people fake being religious for personal gain. For example, when Donald Trump used pepper spray, rubber bullets, and military force to get the peaceful protesters to vacate the area in front of the White House for a photo op in front of St. John’s Chruch across the street. Trump held up a Bible upside-down and backside forward for the press to appease his Evangelica base. Instead, he infuriated several religious leaders, including the ones associated with the church and Pat Robertson. You know he is in trouble when that happens.
Back to the photo op., even though Trump was surrounded by cameras, he never opened up the Bible and read anything from it that might calm the anger in America right now. That is because he doesn’t care about religion. Yet his worshippers think his sent from Gd. He literally did a Jim Jones and told them to inject disinfectant to get rid of coronavirus, and they still believe he is the next coming of Christ. Have they not read the ten commandments recently?
I do believe he is a Christ, the antichrist. That is why I was surprised nothing happened to him as he held up the Bible. While in reality, it didn’t. However, Jimmy Kimmel Live showed us what we wanted to happen. I have been saying he didn’t enter the church because if he did, he would spontaneously combust. The church, sadly enough, suffered fire damage from disgraceful looters and didn’t need any more sufferening.
