Before Dan Frischman friends defended him against bullies on Head of the Class, his so-called friends were the bullies on The Facts of Life. He looks the same now as he did when he was 22 in that 1982 episode.
Last month, CBS’s The Young & The Restless and The Bold & The Beautiful ran out of new episodes, and they have been doing themed weeks ever since.
On May 21st, General Hospital will be in the same position. What is ABC going to do? Beginning on May 25th until June 21st, they will be reairing some of the best Nurses Ball episodes from over the years, according to Daytime Confidential.
Hopefully, this will keep their fans satisfied until they can start production again.
Come June, Days of our Lives will be the only Soap Opera airing new episodes. They are good through the summer. I have a feeling a lot of Daytime Drama fans are going to discover how good the NBC Soap is.
Remember the USA Network show with the germophobe Monk? He has been preparing for something like Coronavirus since he was born? Adrian Monk was using wipes long before they were cool. Which makes me wonder what would he be like now when we are all washing our hands every few minutes?
I don’t have to wonder because Seth MacFarlane asked Tony Shalhoub to reprise his most beloved role for Peacock’s The At-Home Variety Show. I seriously cannot remember the last time I laughed that hard. Once you see him washing his hands to 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, you know you are about to watch a comedic genius at work.
If that is not enough to bring some much needed joy to your day, then seeing a mini-reunion between Shalhoub and his co-stars Ted Levine (Captain Leland Stottlemeyer), Jason Gray-Stanford (Lieutenant Randy Disher), and Traylor Howard (Natalie Teeger) will do just that.
If I were Peacock, then I would reprise the dramedy with Monk solving unsolved murders from his home because he is too afraid to go out. They could actually film it now. Wouldn’t you watch it?
Back to For Good, the online series is raising money for three nonprofits. They are United Way, AmeriCares, and Feeding America. Three organizations that have helped people get through this Coronavirus crisis.
When it comes to Coronavirus, Shalhoub revealed that he and his wife Brooke Adams tested positive for the virus a few weeks ago, and have beaten it.
No city in the United States has been harder hit by Coronavirus than New York City. In fact, several Broadway stars and crew members have come down with COVID-19, and, sadly, some have even lost their lives to it. Therefore, it would make sense that it is not safe to open up Broadway any time soon, even though that is exactly what the Big Apple needs now. This is why the Broadway League announced today that the curtain will remain down until at least September 6th.
“While all Broadway shows would love to resume performances as soon as possible, we need to ensure the health and well-being of everyone who comes to the theatre – behind the curtain and in front of it – before shows can return. The Broadway League’s membership is working in cooperation with the theatrical unions, government officials, and health experts to determine the safest ways to restart our industry,” said Charlotte St. Martin, President of the Broadway League. “Throughout this challenging time, we have been in close communication with Governor Cuomo’s office and are grateful for his support and leadership as we work together to bring back this vital part of New York City’s economy – and spirit.”
Broadway has been silenced since March 12th. Hopefully, the curtain will be able to go up again on Labor Day.
We have all been in quarantine for so long that we will be able to sell our hair for wigs when we can finally get a haircut. Don’t believe me. David Hasselhoff has gone from sexy Hoffness to Fabio’s.
What do you think of his new look? Do you want to go for a ride with him at Knight or should someone send in a lifeguard to rescue his locks?
