Before Ted Danson picked up the ladies with baseball past on Cheers, he was picking them on roller skates on Family. He looks the same now as he did when he was 33 in that 1980 episode.
So yesterday, I saw that Decades added Bosom Buddies to their lineup, and I decided to add it to my DVR. Then I decided to check out what else they had on their network, and I saw they air Family. I never watched it, so I decided to record it too and see if it is any good.
When I woke up this morning, I watched the episode and who was on it? Ted Danson. I think I am in a good place with my new addiction.
The CW and Fox are pretty much ignoring the fall season, while CBS is acting like the coronavirus pandemic hasn’t halted production indefinitely. Today the latter announced their schedule for next season and it as though it is as business as usual.
They expect to launch all of their shows, but midseason holdouts SWAT and Clarice, as is with the hopes that production will be able to resume over the summer.
Are they making the right move? We will find out in September, which might turn into October, and so on. Hopefully, them throwing caution into the wind will work to their advantage. I want my favorite shows back sooner rather than later. Who doesn’t?

Exactly a year ago, Scott Grimes and Adrianne Palicki said I do. Then two months later, she said I don’t and filed for divorce. Well, something happened during these last 10 months (filming Orville together probably didn’t hurt), and they are back together again.
Although looking at the photo that he shared, I am not sure for how long. Yet, her Instagram tells a different story because she wrote, “Happy anniversary to my husband @scottchristophergrimes. What a bizarre year it’s been with all of its ups and downs. Thankfully, we’ve been able to navigate it together. I love and appreciate you.”
If they can survive a divorce filing, they can survive anything. Happy anniversary.
Not only is Sarah Hyland stuck at home because of the coronavirus pandemic, but she is also out of a job because Modern Family ended. Therefore, she decided to change up her hair color.
Gone are her dark brown locks, and hello is Ariel red. Why did she pick this #QuaranTINT? The actress says, “I wanna be where the people are…”
Does her new look make you want to kiss the girl, or do you think she looks like a poor unfortunate soul? I think Prince Eric would be willing to go under the sea with her. Just don’t tell her fiance’ Weels Adams.
Even though Fox announced their 2020-2021 season last week, they were not done scheduling their lineup that was affected by the coronavirus pandemic. What do they need to fix that problem? They need residents and an outdoorsman to help them get through it.
That’s right, they picked up The Resident for a fourth season, and Last Man Standing for a third with the network. The Tim Allen sitcom is the little show that can. LMS did six seasons on ABC, took a year off, and reemerged on Fox.
It will be interesting to see how LMS will resume production of their show when they are finally allowed to film again. It is one of the few shows that tapes in front of a live audience. Will they be able to do that again when they are given the go-ahead? Way too early to tell.
When it comes to The Resident, it will probably be one of the first shows back at work. They film out of Atlanta, Georgia, and that state is much more lax with the lockdown than California and NY. I am also curious to see how many stories they will be doing on COVID-19 next season. I would love to see them take on the CDC since they are both in the same city. I am rooting for Chastain Memorial to win.
Are you as happy as I am that both shows will be back?
UPDATE 2: I am beginning to wonder if push comes to shove, will Fox turn Last Man Standing into an animated show. You know, since it is the only live-action sitcom left on their air. That is because they canceled Outmatched with Jason Biggs and Maggie Lawson today. I am bummed about that because it grew on me.
You know, since Lawson is show killer (none of her shows have lasted more than a season), Peacock should pick up a revival of Psych. At least she had one show she didn’t kill, and we want back.
