We are two weeks into the new broadcast TV season and one of the networks picked up a show for a full season. That show is…Prodigal Son.
The decision makes sense because it is doing well after 9-1-1. However, without that lead-in, I expect their numbers to drop. Not that it is a bad show, but Fox thinks just because a show does well after a highly rated show, it will do well on its one. That has not worked since Empire followed American Idol.
When it comes to what show will be next? I think it will be one or all of the CBS’s new comedies, but not for a few weeks. Unless The CW needs to keep production moving quickly on Batgirl, then that will be next. However, I hope CBS picks up Evil first and NBC considers giving a full season to Bluff City Law. I also think ABC’s Mixed-ish will get the bottom 9 order at some point.

Remember in Fight Club when Ed Norton awkwardly punched Brad Pitt in the ear? Turns out the actor really clocked him there.
Yesterday when Norton was on The Tonight Show, he told Jimmy Fallon that the director, David Fincher, told him to connect with one of his co-star’s body parts. Therefore, he just went for it and nailed Pitt’s hearing organ.
Which is a good thing because had Norton done anything to destroy that beautiful face, he probably would not have worked in this town again. Which means, I would not have had Death to Smoochy. And it is all about me.

Kevin Smith makes movies that makes us laugh (Red State is not even worth a mention). However, he keeps watching films that make him cry. When he saw Captain Marvel, he was overwhelmed with emotion when they mentioned his name.
Yet, that is not why he lost it when he saw Toy Story 4. Silent Bob wrote, “F*ck you, @toystory 4! I’m dehydrated from bawling! I feel like a monster because I did not shed a single tear during the final Toy Story film. Am I the only one who was trying not to fall asleep when they saw it?
When it comes to Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, I cannot wait to see that sequel. I am still talking about the first movie and it was a long ago. A little secret about me, it was one of the first junkets I covered when I moved to LA back in 2001. But that is not why I love that film so much. It was just that funny.
Zac Hanson is singing MMMouch after breaking five bones in a motorcycle accident last week.
The drummer explained what happened, “Wednesday I was involved in a wreck on my motorcycle while preparing for an upcoming cross-country ride. Though I ended up with three broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a cracked scapula, nothing is injured that won’t heal with a little rest and time, and a healthy dose of gaming! Thankfully with good quality protective gear, I was able to walk away, even if very slowly with the help of Isaac, Taylor, and a few of a Tulsa’s first responders 🚒.”
He is not going to let his injuries stop him. In the words of Queen, “The Show Must Go On,” and it will for Hanson. Zac revealed how “We will not be canceling any concerts. Instead, I will be handing over the drum sticks to our good friend Dash Hutton @dashdrumdude for the next few weeks, and I will be giving my full attention to singing while my shoulder is on the mend. The brothers hit the road again on October 25th in Atlantic City. Until then, he gets to spend some time at home with his wife and kids.
Whenever you see cast members from Friends getting together, it is always the girls. However this weekend Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston changed it up. Out is Lisa Kudrow and in is Matt LeBlanc. Looking the Friends we know them to be,
