Harley Quinn is super good at being bad!
December 1st, 2019 under DC Comics. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eGmCeidyH8
Are you sick of superhero animated series being written for kids and wished there was one just for adults? Well, thanks to DC Universe, our prayers have finally been answered with Harley Quinn.

Before Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) was a supervillain, she was the Joker’s (Alan Tudyk) girlfriend. She thought he loved her. That was until he let her rot in jail for a year and never went to see her. Her BFF, Poison Ivy (Lake Bell), helped to set her straight. Which put her on a path to anything that was on the straight and narrow.

Now, she is venturing out on her own and she needs a crew (that includes Jason Alexander, J.B. Smoove and Ron Funches) to back her up. They are just as dysfunctional as she is. So much so, they might hurt her chances of getting into the Legion of Doom.

How can they resist the foul-mouthed baddie that is able to outsmart Batman (Diedrich Bader), James Gordon (Christopher Meloni) and Superman (James Wolk)?

Harley Quinn shows us it is OK to root for the bad guy, I mean bad gal. Therefore, you should fall in love with her today. There is a reason why she is more popular than Supergirl and Catwoman

Top 5 Entertainment Awards Shows
December 1st, 2019 under Awards. [ Comments: none ]

Now that we have just enjoyed the American Music Awards (AMAs), we thought it would be a good time to rank some of the best awards shows. Most people love tuning into awards shows because there is something magical about them. Especially if there is someone or something you are rooting for to win an award.

If nothing else, awards shows provide another form of entertainment. We have Spotify, Netflix, NY online poker, YouTube, social media, and plenty to distract us. Still, when a good awards show is on the TV, we all stop what we’re doing and watch. It’s something about the glitz and glamor that attracts us, while seeing people be rewarded for success is also oddly intoxicating.

Of course, awards shows were not created equal and some are better and more prestigious than others. With that in mind, here’s our list of the best awards show.

5. The Golden Globes

While often compared unfavorably with the Oscars, The Golden Globes is an excellent ceremony in its own right. Bestowed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the Globes have been awarded since 1944. They recognize excellence in both movie and television and provide plenty of unique awards viewing. The allowance of booze and a more relaxed attitude make the Golden Globes a more dangerous alternative to the Oscars.

4. The Grammys

While the Grammys are known as the Oscars of the music world, a Grammy is arguably the most coveted award in the recording industry. However, the show has increasingly lost credibility in recent years thanks to poor award choices. Still, if you want the most formal and glitzy music awards ceremony, the Grammys is still a good place to start.

3. The Emmys

An Emmy award is the most important accolade in the television industry, mimicking the Oscar for movies, Grammy for music, and Tony for theater. Presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), and the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS), the show his hugely glamorous and usually has funny hosts willing to roast the typically outgoing TV industry.

2. American Music Awards (AMAs)

While the Grammys may have once been the most coveted music award, in recent years the AMAs have become more important. Not least because the often-stifling formality of the Grammys is absent in the more laid-back AMAs. One of the things that sets the AMAs apart from any other ceremony on this list is that awards are decided by fan votes. Artists value AMA wins because they know the victory came from people who buy music.

1.       The Academy Awards

Of course, no list of award shows would be complete without The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars. Comfortable the most famous awards ceremony in the world, the Oscars is an event that defines the movie industry. Everyone wants to win an Oscar and it is the pinnacle award in the entertainment industry. No ceremony has the pageantry of The Academy Awards, from the glamor of the red carpet to the anticipation of the show.

Justin Timberlake is said to be feeling guilty following being pictured holding hands with co-star Alisha Wainwright at a New Orleans bar. According to sources close to the singer, he has vowed to make it up to wife Jessica Biel, who is said to be “uncomfortable” with the situation.

The incident has shocked fans of 38-year-old Timberlake, who believed he was in a committed marriage to Biel. For those fans, it is perhaps good to destress by focusing on a hobby, looking for a Parx Casino Bonus Code, or taking faith in the fact Jessica Biel is reportedly laughing off the incident.

Insiders close to Timberlake say 37-year-old actress Jessica Biel is trying to “laugh it off”. They add Justin was “drunk and got carried away” but wants to move on from the scandal.

Regarding the situation, a source told E!: “They are downplaying everything and trying to laugh it off as nothing. But it was definitely inappropriate and something that would make any wife uncomfortable.”

The insider continued by saying Timberlake has admitted the situation happened but brushed it off as “not a big deal” because all co-stars were hanging out together. However, the ex N’Sync singer knows “how lucky he is” and “Their marriage will survive. He feels guilty and will make it up to her.”

A week ago, Timberlake was seen holding hands with 30-year-old Wainwright, who is a co-star on the Palmer TV series. Fans were outraged that Justin was getting intimate with someone who was not his wife. Many speculated this could mean his marriage with Biel was over.

Insiders close to the couple later admitted Biel was “uncomfortable” with the incident by was willing to move on.

The Incident

Timberlake and Wainwright were joined by other cast and production members as they took time out from filming at a New Orleans bar. The pair were seen holding hands by paparazzi and photos show Wainwright stroking and touching Timberlake’s knee. She later holds his hand as he sits in a corner of a balcony.

Interestingly, Timberlake was not wearing his wedding ring and the couple looked close as they laughed together. A witness said the actor and actress seemed to be intimate with each other:

“At one stage he grabbed her hand and rested it on his knee. She then gently started stroking his leg. Then he clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands.”

Sources close to the singer defended his actions almost instantly. Speaking to People magazine, a source said the whole situation was incident was “innocent”.

“It’s a balcony with a group of people and it was definitely nothing happening. He’s down there shooting [his film] Palmer, they’re starring in the movie together and they’re cool, and everybody was just hanging out.”

Another source added, “there is absolutely nothing going on between them.”

It seems Jessica Biel believes this is the case and has decided to let the situation end here. However, the spotlight will now certainly be on her marriage to Timberlake in the coming months.

A Definitive List of the Best Friends Characters.
December 1st, 2019 under Friends (cast). [ Comments: none ]

Friends is now 25 years old. That’s right, folks, the iconic sitcom has been around for a quarter of a century! During its 10-season run, Friends was among the world’s most popular shows and a full-on pop culture phenom. If anything, the popularity of the series has increased since it ended in 2004.

Proof of that has come from Netflix, which is reportedly paying $100 million to keep Friends on its platform through 2020. You read it right, $100 million for a series that ended 15 years ago! Many fans have moved on, but when their watching other shows, checking online to claim the Sugarhouse casino offer, or talking on social media, their thoughts are never far away from the gang at Central Perk.

As fans pine for a Friends reunion special, we decided to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show by ranking the best characters. Yes, we get it, everyone has their favorite Friend and you will almost certainly disagree with our picks, but here goes.

6. Rachel

Sure, let’s start with a very controversial choice. Alongside Ross, Rachel was arguably the underpinning of the show, especially in the first three seasons. In terms of dramatic interest, Jennifer Aniston’s character scores highly. However, she is only moderately likeable if we really think about it and was certainly surpassed in terms of fun. Yes, Rachel has many laugh-out-loud moments, but she was possibly the least consistently funny of the Friends main cast.

5. Joey

Probably another controversially low ranking. Joey was often hilariously funny, although his nice-but-dim persona could also occasionally slip into being plain annoying. For every wonderful “stupid” moment from Joey, there is a moment where you just can’t believe his foolish nature. Many fans were also stunned by the decision to make Joey have a relationship with Rachel. This was a flaw on the part of the writers, which wasted Matt Le Blanc’s character in the final three seasons by making him a whiny and pining stalker of Rachel.

4. Monica

Monica’s ridiculousness was almost solely centered on her compulsive nature. Sometimes it would work and be very funny, while other times Monica’s purpose on Friends seemed to be “the annoying one”. While Courtney Cox’ Monica was not the funniest Friend, she was the most loyal and perhaps the one to go through the most interesting arc through the series, including the growth as she struggled to become a mother.

3. Ross

If this was a list of which Friend found themselves in the funniest situations, Ross would probably win. At his best, Ross was hilarious and arguably the best Friend for pure comedic moments. However, he was never effortless funny like the other characters and Ross’ moments usually came at his own expense. Ross also loses out because through the series he made numerous questionable decisions that make us doubt his status as a nice guy.

2. Phoebe

Phoebe is something of the Friends all-rounder. She is likeable, had meaty dramatic storylines, and was very funny. Add to that mix her quirkiness and you were left with the most unique character on the show. Indeed, Phoebe would probably be number one on this list if she was not left on the sidelines in so many episodes. After creating a unique character, the Friends writers often did not know what to do with her.

1.       Chandler

And the title of best Friends main cast character goes to Chandler. Let’s start with funny; it is widely accepted Matthew Perry’s character is the funniest on the show. Heck, even the name Chandler Bing is low-key hilarious. Simply put, Chandler was the king of witty banter and one-liners. So many times, he served as the provider of the punchline in a scene. As Friends matured, he even because dramatically significant, including the development of his often-touching romance with Monica.
