Elaine Hendrix’s Alexis on Dynasty looks like her daughter
December 4th, 2019 under Dynasty. [ Comments: none ]

Elaine Hendrix is going to make her Dynasty debut this Friday at 9p, and today The CW gave us our first look at the third Alexis on the nighttime soap. The actress looks just like her TV daughter Elizabeth Gillies. Which is interesting because Gillies played her stepdaughter on Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll. Gotta love soap operas, you go can go from playing a stepmom on one show to the actual mom on the next one.

Then again, Dynasty has been its own soap when the camera is not rolling. Hendrix is the third actress to play Alexis in as many seasons. Nicollette Sheridan originated the role, but quit to take care of her ailing mom. Gillies was the next one to take on the part, and now Hendrix got the job.

How long will she stay with the show? Only time will tell. What I want to know is, will she have a British accent like Joan Collins and Sheridan? I have a feeling we are not going to find out until 2020.

If you are not watching Dynasty, then you are missing out on the wildest scripted show on television. Each week, it gets crazier and crazier, and that is why it is the must-watch live show of the week for me. Make it yours too!

A mini-Nanny reunion
December 4th, 2019 under Reunions. [ Comments: none ]

Nicolle Tom was reunited with her TV dad Charles Shaughnessy in Boston and now I really want a revival for The Nanny. Seeing how close Maggie and Maxwell still are, 20 years after they show ended, I can’t believe they haven’t brought it back.

It could be easily done. Mr. Sheffield and Fran’s twins have moved out and now Maggie, Brighton, and Gracie all move back in. Fran is stuck taking care of them as they deal with different emotional issues.

Would you watch the Sheffields again? Especially after seeing this photo?

Sarah Hyland is having a bad hair day
December 4th, 2019 under Bad Hair, Sarah Hyland. [ Comments: none ]

Sarah Hyland has naturally curly hair that she straightens for work. However, I don’t know what I would call this hairdo besides a hairdon’t.

In her defense, we all have bad hair days. It is just no one cares when we do. Nor do we look as good.

Carol’s Second Act goes to the dogs!
December 4th, 2019 under Cedric Yarbrough, Patricia Heaton. [ Comments: none ]

Tomorrow night at 9:30p, Carol’s Second Act has a bunch of arfdorable guest stars. That is because the human hospital is allowing therapy dogs in to help take care of the sick patients.

It looks like Patricia Heaton, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Sabrina Jalees, Lucas Neff, Cedric Yarbrough, and Kyle MacLachlan are having a lot of fun with their co-stars. Can you blame them, look at the sweet faces!

Back to the CBS sitcom, you should definitely check it out. It is my favorite new show of the year and gets better with each episode. And I am not saying that because they are getting taken over by dogs tomorrow. I really enjoy perky Heaton as compared to the grumpy one. Well, that and it makes me LOL every Thursday night. I will never understand why CBS didn’t schedule it after Young Sheldon as compared to that unfunny sitcom. It is a much better fit with the Lorre show. However, that is a post on its own, and I don’t want to get barking mad over it.

Shocking news: Willie Nelson quit smoking pot
December 4th, 2019 under Willie Nelson. [ Comments: none ]

When you think of Willie Nelson, you associate him with four things. Those four things are that he is a singer, the songs he sings, his 2 long braids and that he smokes marijuana. Well, we can cross one of those things off the list. He told KSAT TV’s Paul Venema that he no longer smokes the good stuff.

The Country crooner explained why, “I have abused my lungs quite a bit in the past, so breathing is a little more difficult these days and I have to be careful.” So careful that he takes better care of himself, now at 86, then he did when he was younger.

In fact, Nelson revealed that performing an hour on stage is a good workout for him. To all those people who thought he would never be on the road again, he says, “I don’t give a sh!t, I’m here, I’m glad to be here.” We are glad to have him be here.

It is just going to take us a while to accept that he no longer smokes. But we got used to without braids for a little while, so we will get used to this too.
