Hall & Oates & Grohl?
September 25th, 2019 under Foo Fighters, Hall & Oates. [ Comments: none ]

When you think of the bands that Dave Grohl would be into, Hall & Oates will be on the bottom of them list. However, they are not. Here is the Foo Fighters singer posing with the duo wearing a shirt with their names on it.

Maybe the duo can become a trio? I would love to hear him sing Private Eyes and Maneater with them. It would be totally bitchin’.

I love that the Nirvana drummer is all into Adult Contemporary artists like this duo and Rick Astley. Give it a few years and the Seattle band will be muzak too. We will be jamming to Smells Like Teen Spirit in the elevators.

Death comes to Chicago Med and Fire, Masked Singer is ready to unmask
September 25th, 2019 under Dick Wolf, Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Chicago Med is back on NBC tonight and not everyone is going to make it to the credits tonight. The episode starts off with Will (Nick Gehlfuss) rushing a bloodied Natalie (Torrey DeVitto) into the ER after their car accident. She is unresponsive and doctors are doing all they can to save her. Will looks like he is OK, but turns out he was more injured than anyone thought.

Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) is dealing with his dad’s death and the hospital thinks it is murder. Because of the relationship he had with his father, they think he did it. They start an investigation and he is their #1 suspect.

Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) is not dealing with the fact that she has cancer and it has metastasized. Sharon (S. Epatha Merkerson) insists that she gets it looked at. Turns out nurses are just as bad patients as doctors.

Finally, Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) comes back after his wedding to his dying ex-wife to help everyone through the madness. Little did he know he was going to also help everyone deal with a death of one of their own.

Who dies? You know I cannot tell you! But I can tell you it is worth the watch.

Then at 9p on Chicago Fire, the show picks up with them still fighting the fire from the season finale. One of their own is critically injured and they are not going to survive. That person’s death is going to rock the firehouse. Their death will mean something different to all of them, and they will all handle it differently.

To make matters worse, headquarters is going to see if Casey (Jesse Spencer) acted criminally during the fire. They will launch an investigation, what will they find out?

Get the tissues ready because you are going to need them for a heart-wrenching episode.

If you want to laugh, then you are going to want to tune in for The Masked Singer. Tonight at 8p, the first 8 singers are going to sing and two will be unmasked.

The competition starts off with the Butterfly vs the Egg and the Skeleton vs the Thingamajig. The loser of each battle will go up against each other and one will be revealed.

After that reveal it is time for the Ladybug vs the Rottweiler (my cat’s favorite) and the Tree vs the Ice Cream. Like the first round, one of them will take off their costume for the last time.

While the 8 of them show us that they can really sing, the judges: Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, Nichole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy try to guess who is underneath those totally awesome masks. At one point, someone guesses Marshmallow and the other judges are like how would we know what he is looks because he already wears a mask.

The clues are harder, but I suck at guessing. Although, I think I know who one of them is. However. I am sure I am wrong because I never get it right until midway through the show.

Will you do better than me? Tune in for a show where the singers are just as amazing as what they are wearing. On that note, host Nick Cannon is wearing diamond shoes that are worth $2.4 million. The contestants who can barely see anything in those oversized heads, better make sure not to step on his feet. It will cost them more than to fix his shoes than what they are getting paid to be on the show.

The Goldbergs share real photos from Disney before they go there tonight
September 25th, 2019 under The Goldbergs. [ Comments: none ]

The Goldbergs are back on ABC tonight at 8p and they are going on a Vacation. As in they are going to do their take of the 1983 movie. Not only that, they got Christie Brinkley and Anthony Michael to a guest star on the show as our favorite funny family go on a road trip from Philladelphia to Disneyland.

Adam F. Goldberg wanted to prove that he was really there as a kid, so he shared a photo of himself with the real Murray. The creator wrote, “Beverly goes full Clark Griswold and plans a road trip to the happiest place on earth. And guess what!? So did my real mom!
Then he added, “@wendimclendonco has been asking for a Vacation homage for years! It was worth the wait!”

However, Hayley Orrantia and her TV boyfriend (and eventual husband on Schooled) Sam Lerner did not have to wait to go to Disney before taping tonight’s episode. Both of them like their boss went when they just tall enough to get on some of the rides.

How cute are all the little ones being happy at that happiest place? As cute as the show that gets better with each season. I cannot wait to see what they do tonight and the rest of the season.

Suits gets its perfect ending!
September 25th, 2019 under Uncategorized. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wt8c9_tk2mw
Back in 2011, USA Network aired a legal drama where the lead actors got to say 🐂💩 on every episode and they did. But there was more to Suits than that one word.

Mike (Patrick J, Adams) was a con artist with a perfect memory, who walked into the right place at the right time. Harvey Spector (Gabriel Macht), an attorney who thinks he is the best one to ever work in NY, was looking to hire a lawyer. Mike faked his credentials and got the job. He tried to hide his secret, but little by little it came out. Along the way, he and Harvey helped a lot of people who needed their help. That and they got in a lot of trouble with their cons.

Tonight at 9p, they play one last con to rid themselves of psycho bitch Faye. Mike and Samantha (Katherine Heigl) are suing Faye for wrongful termination. Faye told Harvey and Louis (Rick Hoffman) they have to represent her, win the case and she will go away. There is only one condition, they cannot tell anyone.

As much as they try to hide their secret, they can’t. They will have to call in favors from Donna (Sarah Rafferty) and Alex (Dulé Hill). They kept it from Katrina (Amanda Schull) and she lost her job over it.

Now that you are caught up. Last week, Mike and Harvey had a falling out when the latter subpoenaed the former. Tonight, Harvey goes to Mike and tells him everything. The two of them come up with a plan to bring down Faye.

Will their last con be the one that finally costs them everything? Or are they still the unstoppable duo? I thought I had figured out the ending last week, but I didn’t. The surprise ending is very satisfying. One that is a perfect sendoff for a nearly perfect show.

I have watched this show since episode one and have not missed an episode since. I did not know if it could survive the loss of Adams and Meghan Markle, but it actually got better. That is one of the major reasons that I am going to miss this show much. Thank you for 9 wonderful seasons. Hopefully, USA Network will revive the series next year. It is never too soon.

In case you are wondering if we are going to see the Duchess of Sussex in tonight’s episode. We will. Is it new or old video? I am not going to tell. They will sue me.
