We are still several months away from the premiere for Cobra Kai’s third season, and today the show’s creator gave us a little spoiler.
When season 2 ended, Miquel and Robbie were involved in an epic Karate fight that involved most of their high school. The fight finally came to an end when Robbie kicked Miquel over the railing, leaving the latter in a coma fighting or his life.
Will Xolo Mariduena be back for the third season? The show’s EP Jon Hurwitz said on social media today, “I can tell you that @Xolo_Mariduena will return to play Miguel in Season 3. But I can’t tell you whether or not the character is a ghost. #CobraKai” I think he will live, but he will be left paralyzed. Maybe Johnny Lawrence’s son will go to jail for what he did to his father’s prodigy.
Sound confusing? Then that means you have not watched the greatest show of the last two years. Check Cobra Kai out on YouTube, I promise you will love it as much me and millions of other people.
They make a lot of bad movies today, but they are not as creatively ingenious as they were in the ’70s. That is when they were making brilliantly bad films like Kentucky Fried Movie. It was like let’s come up with the weirdest concept, see if they will make us it, they will so let’s do it while we have the money to do so.
Case in point is 1970’s Dr. Dildo’s Secret. It is hard to tell what it about in the awesome trailer. Therefore, here is the plotline that goes with it: “Dr Dildo has been busy in his lab! Determined to build the perfect female specimen, Dr Dildo kidnaps women and kills them so he can reconstruct them to his liking. When they are perfect, he breathes new life into them through sex.”
I mean, who comes up with this stuff? How did this movie not win the Oscar and the Golden Globe in ’71? Forget Star Wars, Rocky and Grease, this should have been one of the biggest movies of the ’70s. In fact ever.
How can you see this unearthed classic? For just $6, you can buy it from Cheezy Flicks and watch it whenever you want. Invite your friends for a movie night. You can have wine and a Cheezy Flick. What more do you need?
Seth Meyers and Rihanna went day drinking and they got totally wasted. Could be because they drank shots, beer, champagne with a Twinkie in the glass, champagne in a chocolate bunny, Rum, Rye Whiskey with milk and more shots of Tequilla. I would be 💩faced halfway through that menu, but somehow they went all the way to the end.
Granted Rihanna was laughing at/with the Late Night host the whole time and we were giggling with her. In fact, I laughed so much with them, I feel drunk too.
The two drank, played a drinking game, gave each other advice, Meyers tried his really really bad pick up lines on her, she put her makeup on him and he sang and danced to her songs for her. Which is why she could not stop smiling. I had no idea she was laugher until now. I like it.
I also would like to see the NBC host do show his drunk every night from now on. He is even more endearing drunk and there are not that many men you can say that about. At least in all of my experience of getting drunk with boys.
The thing that is great about Meyers is he rarely does viral bits. When he does, they are absolutely brilliant. It is another reason why I say he is the best late night host on the big three. He is second to Conan O’Brien when I compare them all.
Four years ago, I went to my friends’ wedding and the DJ played Shut Up and Dance. I was like who is this band? I totally love them. When I sobered up, I downloaded a bunch of their songs and have been a fan of Walk the Moon ever since.
Today, the band released their newest single and you will eat your heart rocking out to Eat Your Heart. So shut up and dance to it. I know I am.
If the tune is not cool enough, then what about the fact that they made this music video by themselves. That means we get the real vibe of how Nicholas Petricca (singer/keyboardist), Kevin Ray (bassist), Eli Maiman (guitarist), and Sean Waugaman (drummer) feel about the single and not some director who does not know them as well as they know themselves. Not only that we get to see their cute furbabies. Why don’t more musicians include their sweet dogs in their videos?
Back to the dogs, is just me or doesn’t Roxy look just like her dad Petricca? And don’t you just want to kiss Ray’s little boy Harvey? That face! All four of them are just so arfdorable.

Mary Chieffo plays Chancellor L’Rell, Mother of Klingons on Star Trek Discovery and that means she has to wear a lot of makeup and prosthetics in order to play the part.
CBS TV Studios shared a video of her getting into character. Unlike other actors, it is not as easy as just putting on an accent. It is hours of sitting in a makeup chair as they make her up piece by piece. You have to admire how cool she is throughout the long process. I cannot even sit still to write this up and she is like whatevs.
Which is why CBS All Access is asking for her and the makeup department to be considered for an Emmy. The voters should consider that there is much more to acting than acting out the lines. I doubt someone like Constance Wu would be willing to go through all of that for a role. Now I am not saying that acting out lines is easy and should be nullified, but some actors have to do a lot more before they go in front of the camera and should be recognized for that too. Mandy Moore does more to play Rebecca Pearson than some of the actresses on Big Little Lies.
I also think it is really interesting to watch these transformation videos. I enjoy watching a human turn into something else. How would you say that in Klingon?
